**** All That Personal Stuff ****

Soooo, KotOR is finished. 45 hours of play. Now when you add another 35 hours of play when I go back as a darksider, the price of the game falls to about sixty cents an hour...that's unbeatable in value. Anyway, best video game ever. Had me hooked all the way through, and when you get to the plot twists and all it just gets amazing...omg...

Well, unfortunately, I am leaving again for a short leave this weekend. It's my grandfather's 90th and we are using it as a family reunion of sorts on my dad's side. Going out to this huge bed and breakfast in Maryland. It'll be cool, I guess.

I got my good computer up and running again. Two computers again = Jac efficiency up. Now I can actually do like I used to, work on crap on one comp and IRC on the next...my other comp didn't multitask too well, so this will help me.

School is still going well I think. I didn't do as well one of the last two midterm I took unfortunately. I got an 87%. Normally I wouldn't complain about that, but it does take a nice cut out of the grade I can get on my final. Now I need like a 96% on my final to get a full A in the class. Oh well. I still have like 100% in two other classes and in the other who the heck knows. Tiss all good.

**** History of the Dark Council ****

The other night I had Trev send me a list of the Dark Council positions and who had held them before. Trev had been compiling them for a timline project when he was KCB. He had a very good list that I set out the other night to complete.

I foraged through 20 Dark Voices and about 600 days of news in the database to make an additional 84 entries to the list. I have done a rough HTML version of the list and posted it to the website. If you get a chance, go take a look. It is an interesting way to see some of our history (and see which positions have the most turnover...coughCoGcough).

Dark Council History

Unfortunately, the list is still incomplete. There are a few holes in the positions of OHC and CoG, as well as a very large hole due to the dissapearance of DVs 8-13. It sucks, cause those were the DVs that I made, and they were good. Stupid AOL for deleting them and stupid Ronin for not attaching them to the EH newsletters. Oh well...

That's right boys and girls. After a long delay and a lot of reminders by you people, the final round of Jac's Really Dum Competition Seasion One is here! The page has been posted and now all it take is two of your minutes to go and post.

After the comp end next sunday I will tally points and give awards. Then you get to wait for the much anticipated season two. It will be better, bolder, dumber and dumberer!

Most Bestest Answer: Zekk -- The Blink 182 song, "Whats my age again?", would start playing out of nowhere and Jac would then start running around the mall. Then Jac would jump on the rail of the escalator and slide down his crotch would then start on fire so he would then jump into the fountain, doing a perfect swan dive, to cool himself off. Then he would take the pennies and nickles and dimes etc and start chucking them at old people. Jac would then put his red short on his head and walk out of the mall in the nude.

Most Crookedest Answer: Dagger -- Jac would run around in circles with his hands raised and the red shorts over his head, humming the theme song from "Batman". Then he would smack into a pole because he cant see (DUH! he has red shorts on his head!) then he would fall down and get angry at the pole and begin humping it. After Jac finished (30-40 sec.) humping the pole he would take a large poo on it and then roll around on the floor humming the theme song from "Superman." Then he would invent fire...again.

Most Dumbest Answer: Voranyen -- Break the window of a seamstress' shop and steal some needles and thread. Then he would sew the shorts into a hot air balloon, steal a lighter from 7-11 to inflate it, and hover in the street farting on peoples' heads.

Most Saddest Answer -- Sorry Flechette!: Flech -- Jac should go to the Drake Performance Theatre, because Fleshy was all like, "Hey, is Jim here?" And the Resnet guys were all like, "No, but he works for us." And Fleshy was all, "Oh, okay." And Fleshy didn't get to see Jac. And he was sad and cried for the rest of OSU orientation! :(

**** w00t for Jam3z and website updates ****

Jam3z has again been busy this week doing many a task for little 'ol me. He has worked on the polls to make them have the ability to restrict orders in voting. he has corrected some errors that I pointed out, and he has made my competition approval form better for me.

I have awarded Jam3z a Steel Cross for his effort with the polls. I feel that if he continues it won't be long until he gets into the weaponry medals.

**** Welcome back to two members ****

We have had two great come-backs this week that I am pleased to announce.

The first is a great Dark Jedi from times of yore. This member is a former Deputy Grand Master and a former long-time Krath High Priest. He has had a lot of impact on this club, making it all the way to Dark Jedi Master. I am thrilled to have him back on IRC and he has just recently re-established his dossier. Please give a warm welcom back to DJM Shaitan!

Another member has just had his roster re-created, and in a time when the EH is saying that we are falling apart it seems funny that their very own Lord Ambassador has resigned to join us! Destavol Gin has stated that he wants to return to where his true friends are, and we welcome him back with open arms. The Dark Brotherhood will always be an asylum for those wishing to escape the crap that we are already free from.

**** CoG Update ****

Unfortunately, since I am leaving for my short trip this weekend, I think that we will be making the CoG announcement when I get back (unless FF wants to choose without me :). Sorry for the delay, but it's only a day or so.

**** IRC Conduct ****

I hate having to say anything about this, but I am going to.

We made a conscious decision when we split from the EH to be very lenient on our IRC rules. We generally let discussions go as they may until someone gets really out of hand. Recently though, I have seen some behavior that has gone beyond the crudeness and idiocy that normally gets you kicked. There have been some people that have literaly made fun of and picked on a member until they have left the channel, never to come back. This is not something I will tolerate anymore. If I see you really upsetting someone to that point (for no good reason), you will be booted.

On the other side of the coin, some of you really need to grow some thicker skin. I mean for christs sake, some people cry about the stupidest crap. I deal with more abuse from my very own friends on here than most of you put together, but I take it as it's meant to be...A JOKE! if someone calls you a moron in jest, take it in jest and don't get all pissy. People don't say things around here with the intention to harm; they just like to have fun, and if it's at your expense for a few minutes, who the heck cares? You will never advance in life if you can't laugh at yourself every now and then.

So I've just started my first battle in the ACC again my Praetor, Sith Bloodfyre. He's going to lose very badly, but even though I can destroy him with a blink and a nod, I am enjoying the experience so far emmensly. The creators have done a great job with this.

If you haven't done so already, I suggest you go join.

**** Big Props ****

Biggity Biggity Propety Whopety!!

Two weeks in a row, Jam3z gets the first Big Prop. Without Jam3z and CG I don't know where we would be, and I appreciate the initiative, and the timely manner in which the SCL office performs. Jam3z (and CG) is going to advance fast in this club.

Next -- Great Big Huggled Props out to the new Dark Adept Alanna! It's hard sometimes in the DC because it's easy to be overlooked for all the things you do, and Alanna is one of those. She has done a great job and should have been promoted long ago. Thanks Lannie for all you do!

Thirdly -- Oberst from Tarentum has been promoted. Oberst is the great example of what our returning members should strive for. Since he has returned to the DB he has jumped into every form of activity he could. I would like to see more people like this.

Props to Erryc Lasitter who went to the San Diego Comic Con to represent the DB. He got some good stuff for the DV and may have gotten some members by passing out flyers!

Congrats to Freshjive on his promotion. Thanks for your work as QUA!
