Hey folks, welcome to another exciting edition of The Lord Chamberlain report! I'm going to start by saying that I'm currently downloading the Galactic Conquest mod of Battlefield 1942, which will turn one of my favorite games to a Star Wars team-oriented ground-and-air war. Sounds good, don't you think? The only problem is the thing is 293 mb's. I'll be downloading it for another 25 hours. Feel my pain. :(

A member has recently let me know that they've set up a server for our temporary use in downloading the Galactic Conquest mod. The files 293 mbs, so its pretty huge, but if you are having trouble with the other download locations, email me or drop me a line on IRC. The member who made the server has requested that it not be published so he doesnt get the insane traffic that all the other mirrors of the file are getting. :) I've started a message board post for members who have downloaded the mod here.

The Interclub Training Event was cancelled last weekend due to a timing conflict with the OHC Cup, but its back in full force this weekend. We'll be giving away CFs, as we have been in the past. So show up, play some games, have some fun, and get rewarded for it! :)

Very soon, there will be a DB-wide recruitment drive in an effort to get our organization better known across the net. This will work nicely with the upcoming Guild structure that the CoG will help implement.. When a CoG is chosen. ;) In anticipation of these changes, I'm asking that any member that has a good idea of a site, organization or service that they think I should contact, [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with the website. This includes other clubs, search engines, club registries and even gaming services. The job I have that I've really been neglecting most is in getting the DB name out into the net. So with your help, I'd like to turn that around :)
