CoG Report #1
Woo! CoG Report! :P Firstly, thankyou to all those who have congratulated me this week. I'll try and not screw up too much :P Also, real life has just hit me with a bunch of hours for work recently. I won't be back up and running until later on Saturday. I was going to be at the meeting, but since my work hours changed, I won't be there now. Alright, now unto some actual news.
GMRG/Guilds:
Have no fear, there has been some progress in these two areas. Certain ideas are being finalized. You can be assured that the GMRG will only be for those who are active. No more retirement home for those who were once the best :P It'll be open to all Orders, and will utilize JK, JK2, XvT and XWA as of right now. There is a group currently discussing the finer details, and by my next report, I hope to have all of those details completely finalized. If not, remember to give me a swift kick in the ass :P
As for the Guild-system. I hope to have all of it's detail released at the same time. I want to try and keep things simple so that everyone can enjoy their favorite games whenever they want to :) There is a messageboard topic here, for all those who want to put in their two cents. External Competitions:
Currently, we only have two external-type competitions. The first are the Week of Wars, which uses Battlestats to keep scores, and games are played through the Zone. Also, there is the InterClub Competition, Saturdays at 4pm EST in #outerrim on IRC. When all of the GMRG details are done, I will see to getting us some more competition :) Mav and his already busy magistrate already have some ideas in this area, so stay tuned for that. And remember, today starts the JK WoW, so get out there and fight!
Praetor/Magistrates:
As of now, I'm not looking for any assistants as of now, but I will be in the near future. I just don't want any apps as of yet :P When I need one, I'll post up the details.
Other Stuff:
That should be about it this week. I'm trying to get some practice in for JK2 and hopefully JK as well. I'm probably the first CoG to be a terrible JKer :P If things do seem a bit slow right now, I apologize, but I want all the little things done so that we can move onto the real meat of the job >:) Should you have any questions or concerns, you can e-mail or bug me on IRC.
