There was no report last week, since I was on vacation, so I decided to just put everything into this report. Just a few things to cover this week, but hopefully it won't be too long of a report :P
*Grand Masters Royal Guard: *
The GMRG is running more or less smoothly. There are a fair number of matches reported in for the end of August, but now I begin keeping track of number of matches played, to make sure everyone keep up their quota. We have a couple of members who are fairly close to achieving the next GMRG rank, so I may have some elevations to announce next week. Also, our first GMRG night should be starting up next week. It's just a night for people to come together and play some MP, win some medals and just have fun. I hope this comes a weekly thing, with various events happening. A reminder to Clan summits: If you think there is someone who should be in the GMRG, tell me and I'll look into it. Also, if you think you're higly active in MP, e-mail me and apply for a spot in the GMRG. I look at each person on a case by case basis.
Guilds:
There are about 3 prospective Guilds looking for members. The first was an Unreal Tournament 2003 guild. If you're interested in joining or helping out, e-mail [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Also, a WarCraft 3 Guild is being put togehter by OPM Mage. If you want in that guild, or to help out, mail him [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Lastly, Mav has decided to put together a Diablo 2 Guild, and more members are always welcome to join. If you're interested and have the game, I suggest you mail [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. I will also be working on getting our DBPA organized. I see some good things coming from a few people. If you have a game you enjoy playing, and think there are enough members for it, get out there and find them and start up a guild!
CoG Praetor:
I have chosen a Praetor this week. I had a handful of applications, and the choice was extremely difficult, but I have chosen OE Dagger! Congrats! He'll be charged with doing some work for the GMRG, like hosting some of the GMRG nights as well as finding out more information for external activites for the GMRG.
JK2 WoW:
The JK2 WoW has begun today! Get out their and use those sabers to cut up the other clubs :P Remember, CF's are rewarded for wins, as well as helping get the DJB name out there. If you need any help in getting started in WoWs, please feel free to e-mail with any questions or concerns.
CoG Site:
It should be up in another week to week and a half. Mejas has been busy helping Arcona beat on CSK in their feud :P
ICTE Ladder:
I haven't gotten much response from the other clubs for this, but I will be pushing this through, so in couple of weeks, we should be able to start a ladder for those ICTE days.
SA Course:
I've begun writing the Beginner's Guide to MP, but it may take a bit longer since I start classes Monday. And since Jac worked so hard on getting some great marks, well, I'm hoping to do the same. Wish me luck...I don't have the million dollar smile to help me :P
Other Stuff:
I may not be on too much these next few days. I'll be working and my gf has just come back from a 10-day trip...along with the fact I start school in the next few days. I'll be quite busy, but after things get settled down, I should be back in the swing of things. Oh, and I've started a competition that'll take place in every report. People in Arcona will be familiar with this. I will write down a set of lyrics, and your job is to guess the song and artist. First person to post COMMENT with the correct answer wins. A nicy shiny crescent is in the offering. Make sure ppl go through the whole report. Enjoy :P
