Galeres Quaestor Report for October 12th, 2003

Sorry this report is a little late this week. I was on leave till today and now I’m back. Thankfully, there were no major events that occurred this week. This report will be short and sweet then. Oh…well…you know I suppose I could be like Jac and tell you guys what I did this weekend on leave. On Friday I came home then went to tutor some people for their SATs. Ok well….I went to tutor one person for their SATs…a girl….I think you all know my motives :P Naw…hehe. Anyways, afterwards I went out to dinner with my friends. Yesterday, I was in Corona all day visiting one of my best friends who had moved away. Yeah so THAT is what qualifies as leave around here :P

The Clan Ladder goes on. Round two is going on now so go play your matches.

Most importantly, we have a new Rollmaster. Protector Xiphias Amplus Entar will be the Rollmaster of Galeres as soon as CoSlow...I mean CoFo finishes the paperwork. To the others that applied, don’t worry. I have plans for all of you to serve in leadership since all of you were more than qualified.

My congratulations to Gambit on being promoted to Sovereign Protector in the GMRG

One last thing, PLEASE READ THESE REPORTS. It takes me about 15 minutes to write one of these and they contain important information that you’re not going to get just sitting around. So don’t just skim them, please read them. They’re not that long and its worthwhile to read them!

Now onto the report

Brotherhood News

Heres the usual rough summary

The JK2 CTF League starts its first round. Arcona had a good showing, since we won our first match (by forfeit). However, we lost our second match against Taldryan. All I have to say (as I was judging the match) is that we need to learn to be more cohesive. We didn’t lose because of lack of skill; we lost because of lack of cohesiveness.

All details for the league can be found on the main page and in the competitions section of the site.

Medals were awarded to those of us who had IWATS courses on record. Details can be found on the main site.

There is a new competition for Post-card selection. Again the details can be found on the main site or by following this link: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=133

Dark Voice Submissions are still being accepted by Trev

The DJB did very well in this weeks JK2 WoW

Lastly, Arcona dominated the ICTE. We had 14 members who played and newly promoted GRD Gambit earned 16 total CFs to earn the highest amount of participation. Good work!

Clan News

Nothing new this week except that we are now 1-1 in the CTF League. Good participation!

Oh and The Arcona Trivia Competition is over. Halc (PRT Oscar) won first place, with OT Locust winning second and myself winning third. Good showing from Galeres

House News

This week brings a few promotions.

First, Protector Gambit was promoted to Guardian for general ownage. He dominated the ICTE and continually proves his skill.

Gambit was also promoted to Sovereign Protector in the GMRG! Dangg…..heh

Next, Apprentice Rinku joined us. Welcome Apprentice!

Lastly, Protector Xiphias Amplus Entar became our Rollmaster…or rather he will BECOME our Rollmaster soon.

I was considering opening AED to application so that I could begin to train a replacement. However, I have decided against that for the time being. You will understand why in the very near future.

Competitions!

Summing Up The Competitions

House Galeres Combat Ladder

The Ladder is underway. Play your matches! If I’m not around to judge, please try to record a demo so I can watch the match later and judge it then. Otherwise go out and have fun! Please follow the rules I set forth in my many emails. The schedule for round 2 has been released.

House Galeres Mottos

Please submit to me your suggestions for a House Motto and a Soulfire Brigade Motto. After I’ve received a few, we will vote on them. The winning entries will receive a DC. Simple competition that any of you should be able to participate in! I have received one submission and it looks like its going to win unless some of you guys submit
