House Byss Quaestor Report

Krath Pontifex Jonaleth Isradia was stately behind his desk of dark, varnished mahogany, a grim apparition of shadows and robes, whose features were sharply outlined in the faint light fading in through drawn curtains. The Barons sapphire blue eyes blazed in the darkness, lit by a light of their own as the SecondMaster of Byss looked down on the antique paper journal before him, and began to write his weekly status report in a smooth, flowing letters

The state of the Brotherhood

ØHouse Ziost, is in grave danger with lack of members.

ØKhan is our house Envoy until someone else accepts the job.

ØA new GJW is on the way.

ØTrevarus Caerick is the new Oracle, editor of the Dark Voice, submit all works for the Dark Voice to him to earn yourself a great deal of medals.

ØAnyone who had IWATS courses on their file before the split can now have the accredited via medals. Contact KPN Kaiann ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) to request them.

ØMy name is changed from Bant Komad to Jonaleth Isradia.

ØThe Encyclopaedia Astronomicon is nearly completion. I have designed all Exar Kuns systems and planets, and will make this available shortly, when I reach final draft.

The affairs of the House

ØWe have an egroup [Log in to view e-mail addresses] - that is for all members to use.

ØSignatures, Crests and Portraits are being found for all current and future Byss members. If you wish to find your own, check http://www.renderosity.com. Use them in official communications, and send them to myself for cataloguing, if you desire. PRT Lugh has also volunteered to create signature banners for anyone who wants them.

ØThe identity of House Byss has been made out as the spies, informants and information gatherers of the Dark Brotherhood. With this in mind, we can tailor our writings, beliefs and works to fit this unique flavour.

ØDont forget to CC me on all the work you submit to anyone, so I can track what youre doing.

ØIm dismayed by the lack of activity in the House, yet no-one has said anything to me to indicate any problems. I understand many people are away at this time, however.

ØKMT: Never Ending Combat write a poem about the conflict between the Light and Dark Jedi, its origins, history, form etc. 20 lines minimum, submit to Tiss: ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

ØKMT: And Now For Something A Little Less Pleasant Write a platy/script about a very dark subject such as death, torture, pestilence etc. No light and fluffy stuff. Describe the characters and use directions and angles as in a real script. Submit in .txt to Ciara ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

ØHOUSE COMPETITION: Write a story depicting the death and final moments of KPN Bant Komad. Attempt to stick with history set out in the various run-ons and works I have made for him. He should not die accidentally or without dignity. Submit to me. Closing date is next Friday. Winner received a Crescent with Sapphire Star.

ØHOUSE COMPETITION: A new run-on is to be started momentarily on the House notice board. Lets see if we can make this one as good as the last!

The Krath in specific

ØDJK Brenn has renamed himself Valon Perenor, and created an excellent history and culture surrounding this new character!

ØPRT Sinjin is AWOL.

ØDJK Erryc Lassiter has been very pressed this week IRL, but has told me he returns to normal operations as of now. There are some suprises waiting for him soon

ØJH Lugh Luanna has easily been the most active this week, contacting his tyros, using the egroup and posting on the message boards. He will be DJK in the blink of an eye.

ØNOV Bartleby is at sea at the moment. He is considered on leave for the moment.

ØNOV Zion Krior is AWOL.

ØACO Maris Kren is at sea at the moment. He is considered on leave for the moment.

ØACO Seiryte taken up his Tetrarch duties as of now. I look forward to seeing what he does with Exars Shadow.

My thoughts given form

ØIve learned that Star Wars Galaxies will not reach England till December this year! Im very annoyed at this, but am already planning my character for it.

ØIm getting quite good with GTKRadiant and am currently modelling the Ash Citadel and Isradias throne room for practice. When theyve been completed, Id like some volunteers to test them and give me any thoughts. I hope to be skilled enough to help in the creation of Jedi Academy levels for the next GJW.
