-Recruitment is always a high priority, let’s get some more fresh blood in this House.

-As we all know the Sith Order is in pain. This is not the time to become complacent, we cannot let it die. Stand tall my Brothers and Sisters, defend the honour of your House and your Order by remaining active. Your leaders are exploring new options to rekindle the fire.

This week’s report:

ACTIVITY:

Saraii is on the verge of completing her first battle in the ACC, excellent…another soul for our unholy army of writers. She has also tested her flying abilities in SP XvT.

Dalthid challenged me to the Entertainment Hall and I will make my first post in due time. I hate midterms…I also hate my program, but I digress.

HOUSE NEWS:

-Construction of the new Galthain website continues.

-New comps to come. Possibly by late Tuesday night (exam till 10 PM)

NEWS FROM THE DB IN GENERAL:

-This week brings dark tidings. Both our honourable Sith High Warrior (Predator) and the Combat Master of the ACC (Xizor) have resigned from their positions. Their leadership and enthusiasm shall be missed.

-The Dark Voice is operational again and the position of Oracle has been reinstated. Send all entries to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

The newest issue is already set, so any entries past this point will go into to the next issue.

• “The big big hurdle between "signed up" and "member in Clan" is the Phase 2 course - especially in the gaming orders. Without knowing folks in the DB, many newbies just don't get the needed games. Thus, Phase 2 will become an optional course - and folks get to take it after they are in their House. Instead, they can also participate in a House or Clan competition. That gets the same result.

• With this change, members will join their Clan as Apprentices. We've come full circle here.

• There will be a way to get NOV, ACO and even PRT through Shadow Academy advanced training. It's open for everyone not yet up to PRT rank, even those who graduated by the old system. (The PRT stuff will take a while to create as it will be a new course. There'll be an interim way to earn that rank - and I mean earn, not get it for free ;-) )

• Anyone currently an Apprentice can graduate either way - we however encourage you to finish your SA the old way. It'll be faster for you than to wait for the new stuff to be coded.” -KPN Kaiann

-DB membership is increasing steadily. If you know anyone who would be a good Dber, give ‘em a nudge, we could always use new recruits, try to get them into Galthain. Let’s make this a high priority. The new SA structure may help us get some people.

COMPETITIONS AND OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO TO GET NOTICED:

SCRAMBLE!!!.

Alright, Galthain, we have till the 30th ( plus a 2 week extension on the SP stuff) to show the rest of the Order what we’re made of. We have a lot of catching up to do and not much time to do it. This will be a true test of our abilities. RISE AND SHINE, GALTHAIN!

There are five areas of competition. You don’t have to participate in all of them. Pick some stuff and do it.

1. MP:
   

Multi Player Points for taking part Points for winning

Either XWA or XvT 1 per match 1st 20 2nd 10 3rd 5

This will be a ladder system of:

Win 4 ladder points

Draw 2-ladder point

Lose 1-ladder points

Please remember to state the score and platform, each match must be at least 5 mins but bear in mind there is only one ladder which XvT and XWA not separate ladders.

Matches played at official competitions will get Clusters of Fire but you can play at any time (but no CoF will be awarded)

2: Mission Design: Create a mission for TIE, XvT, or XWA. Doing all three gets a pile of bonus points.

3: Fiction: “The fiction should relate to a raid against another house within the Sith War other then that I leave all details to you.” -Predator

4: SP battles: You have them already and I’ve attached them to this report (sent to Galthain email only) Go fly them.

5: Humour: “Ok This is a bit of different event we all know the internet is a great place and has lots of humor (anyone who works in an office with internet access will know this) so I want you to send me ONE page which you think is funny, it does not have to be Star wars but extra points will be awarded for star wars humor. Please keep it clean (you can only send one entry so make that one clean but remember to send me ANYTHING which you find funny anyway)” -Predator

-Join the run-on training team and learn how to help your Clan in future comps.

-The Dark Voice, could always use fiction submissions….I’ll even help you edit stuff (depending on how much time I have).

-There are always Shadow Academy courses for your enlightenment.

-You can always do some MP flying and earn yourselves some CFs.

-Although the Sith Mission Competition itself is over, feel free to make more missions and send them to Gord. They would be greatly appreciated.
