And so it begins.....
It had been several days since his elevation back into a position of power within a clan. The feeling felt right, but then, not right. Epis Azazel Djo'Tarr, the new Qua of House Qel-Droma, stood gazing out of his new office window. Epis Tissaya, the previous Qua and the one who brought Az back from the Rogues, had kept the office in imaculate condition for his arrival. She had even left him a message in the holonet projector. As he stood there, taking in the his new view, he spotted several members of QD standing talking in the courtyard far below. A smile formed on his lips, and he nodded slowly while thinking to himself 'They're now my responsability....and i shall not fail them or Arcona!'. He spun round on his left heel, his robes flowing with the sudden movement, he paced over to his desk and stared at the two data pads there, one bore the mark of the Prophecy Phyle, the other, Loreseekers Phyle. Azazel picked up the Prophecy report and scanned through the document, then he did the same with the Loreseekers document. Both reports were well written, with many activities and thoughts outlined. But he did notice the rosters most of all. "One missing!", he had not forgotten about Dark Orb, and wonderd when he was to recieve the final TET report. Pondering for a mere moment, he directed his attention to the COMM consol. "Rollmaster Bograt.....gather the House members, i want to address them all in the main Qel-Droma meeting chamber, i have much to say". Az paused for Bograts reply, "As you wish Epis Djo'Tarr".
Grabbing what he had prepared the night before, Azazel made his way to the QD meeting chamber to prepare for his opening speach as the new Qua of House Qel-Droma. His future relationships with it's members all hung on his first address, the 'Address of Succession'. Time had flown by. And soon the chamber was full with the members of QD....on thier lips was two questions....'What is he gonna say? Whose the new Aed?'.
Epis Azazel Djo'Tarr, rose to his full height on the podium, silence decended around the room as all murmerings of conversation came to an abrupt and sudden end. He looked around the room and began to speak.....

Greetings my Krath! For those who know me, 'Howdee'..again, for those who do not know me (yet), you soon will do! :D But, as with good manners, a formal introduction of myself to all you is required. I am Epis Azazel Djo'Tarr, your shiny new QUA. But i am not new to this position, only from the aspect that i am now a Krath, and no longer a member of the Obelisk Order. I served my time as Qua of House Kirleta of Clan Satal Keto for 2 years 6 months. I have been a member of the Dark Brotherhood for exactly, 3 years 6 months and 6 days (shame it is'nt 6 years) ;) In my time i have served in 3 clans within the Brotherhood. CNS, CSK, and now Arcona. I have always been totaly loyal to the Brotherhood, and those with whome i command. You can rely on me to put you guys first before myself and my Summit. Either way, i am last on the list.
Right then, enough about me. You can read my history on my dossier (#89) page if you so wish too.
My Policies - With me as your Qua come my policies (no need to boo now). I think you will find them firm but fair. Afterall, what i am after here is to see you all happy, and functioning as a productive, well organised, disciplined team of Krath. Below are some of my policies:-
Remember the chain of command! - Approach your TET first with the problem. If he cannot resolve the issue, then try the Aed. If he cannot, then please feel free to pester me till your blue in the face. Thats what i am here for. To look after you lot and support you!
Az's Open Door - I have always taken this approach with command. No matter what is on your mind, please don't bottle it up!! We may not ever meet, but hey, i like to think of myself as a good 'friend' to all around here. All you need is to request a chat, either, on mIRC, or via mail, and i will be there to have a listen time permitting ofcourse. Whatever the reason, please come to me and i will see what i can do for you. Even if it means just listening, i will do it.
Hastle, Bullying - May sound a bit school yardish, but it does happen in clubs. I will not sit back and tolerate someone within my House bullying other members. If you are, then prepare to meet thy maker. I can be pleasent when i want to be, but utterly ruthless when provoked. So, unless you want to get somewhere, be polite and civil to eachother. Share jokes and have a laugh by all means, but remember your part of a team, and that team has a name, House Qel-Droma. If i get a report of one of you acting up in this way, i will pull you to one side and have a quiet word in your ear. Depending on what you have done will effect the severity of my 'ticking off'. Become a repeat offender, and you will find yourself floating your way to the Rogues without little warning. I have a zero tolerance for idiots, or ignorant people. Please do not be afraid to report anything to me. It will be dealt with!
LOA's - I am fine with these. But please, do not leave it to last minute mails, unless it is an emergancey. Someone can request LOA for you in the case of a bust PC etc. But, i would prefer atleast a weeks notice for booked holidays and weekends away. What i don't want is people going missing all the time.
AWOL checks - TET's, it is your duty to look after and lead your Phyle's with competance and honour. Do not be afraid to hold an AWOL check once a month. Infact, i will encourage it! I do not like dead weights in the house taking up a spot that would better serve a really keen and active newcomer, or former member. Those who do not meet the deadline, or who are late, you send thier names and dossier numbers to the RM, CC'ing myself and the AED, as request they be removed asap. All i want is active people who are willing to work for the greater good of this House!
Firm but Fair - This is how i best describe my leadership. I will help anyone with whome i command, no matter how trivial be the request. I am here to be used but not abused. I have a vast experience within the Brotherhood, and i have achieved much in my time. Use me whilst i am still here and breathing! My goal is to train you guys up to one day take my place, and write a new page in QD history. So below are some guidelines where my Firm but Fair policy come into play.
Activity - Be consistant, and you will be well rewarded. Get noticed by myself for this, and i will spoil you rotten.
Reports - I like them to be in my mailbox no later than Thursday night so i can read them and prepare my report. If your report is going to be delayed for any reason, let me know! Or i'll ask for an explanation.
Comp Idea's - I encourage EVERYONE to get into this. If you have a good idea for a comp, come share it. I will help you to set it up, advise you, even help with the rewards. Anybody in this House can submit/run a comp. DO not wait for the Summit, send one in if you want to see it happen. Remember though, sometimes two heads are better than one! ;)
Credit where credit is due - I never like to see someone growing off someone else's reputation. In other words, stealing thier thunder, taking thier credit. If you have worked your butt off, i will break something to see that you get what you deserve. Lie to me though......which really makes me see red, and i will take it away what you would've got. So, make sure your the one whose name is on that piece of poetry, fiction, or graphic.
Positions - Nobody, not even me, is safe from possibly losing his/her position. Remember this: 'i giveth but can taketh away'. If i promote you to a House Summit position, or TET position, i expect you to do your duty without question. If you feel you can no longer do it, let me know! I will find a replacement. There's no shame in admitting defeat. Everyone who takes on a House role (any form of leadership/Summit role), is on an instant 'Probation' period lasting one month. Do well in this month, and i will give you a pat on the back. Perform poorly, i.e. constant late reports (with no explanation), no activity, pushy with other members, underminding my authority of all House matters, and i will place my boot up your backside and put someone else in your place. There are other people equaly worthy of a chance to command in this house beside yourself, and i am always watching.

I gotta say this now. ALL app's were of a high quality and made my choice very very difficult. It had plagued my all day as to who to choose (as well as trying to keep everyone at work amused with my banter and joking). I noticed everyone had exellent idea's for the House in the way of future comps, and other stuff. I do urge you (those who applied) to not lose heart and keep those idea's alive!! Please come to me with them and discuss them. Together we will make this House the GREATEST Krath House within the DB!!
QD Needs a new RM!! - For those wishing to get into the House Summit, starting off as a Rollmaster (RM), is a good starting point. It allows you to assist with the day to day running of the House, and also your main duties can differ. Mostly it's keeping an eye on the roster number, promotion times, activity stats, positions etc. You can always create and run some comps, or help to set one up. It can be as busy as you like. But remember.....the RM's report must be out first, so no later than Tuesday please. Send your applications to myself, JH Bograt, CC'ing the CON & PCON. Try and sell yourself to me ;)
Phyle closure!! - I was meant to send this out last night. But instead i am forced to send this out in this, my first report for the House. I have been noticing the Phyle numbers recently. This got me thinking. I think it is time that one of the Phyles was closed, and it's members put into the other Phyles. I'd rather see two fuller looking Phyles, than 3 half empty ones. I think you will agree with me here, it it a logical conclusion. The 'closing' Phyle can always be re-opened when the House numbers improve. So it is with a heavy heart that i announce the closure of Loreseekers. My sincere appologise's to it's members, and to you Krissy. But all is not lost as you will find out below. I am going to allow Loreseekers to remain open for a further week, so that Krissy can do her final report. Again, i am sorry that numbers cannot justify Loreseekers remaining open.
TET's - Both myself, Tiss and Cyris, spoke about TET's. And we all agreed that ONLY the most active members should become TET's and lead a Phyle. For this, and in conjuction with the closure of Loreseekers, ALL current TET positions are now open! I want the most active members as my TET's. So it's in your best interest to be as active as possible for the next two weeks. This will give Krissy the chance (maybe) to retain her TET title. If there are any further questions on this matter, please contact me.

Azazel's Final Thoughts....
Quiet week in my mailbox, but that is to be expected as i have been the Qua for only a day really (officialy). I have high expectations that the overall activity will now improve. I hope that everyone is ready to do whatever is required of them for the preparation for the upcoming GJW. This, should start in late January. SO please people, be prepared and get ready to take out the trash!!!
I know that now all thoughts in the current Loreseekers Phyle are on thier future. Well, you can mail me and request to be put into any Phyle within QD. If i get no mails, then i will assume that you are not fused. The NEW TET's will be disclosed after Loreseekers is closed and the new TET's have been placed. Again, i can only appologise to the Loreseekers Phyle and it's current TET.
Some of you maybe thinking 'He sounds like a right asshole!'. Well...you could be right. But i can assure you, i am only an asshole to those who go looking for trouble, or bring it on themselves. I am here to make sure this House runs at FULL capacity and operates as a smooth running machine. We're a team, and like the saying goes, 'There is no I in TEAM' <-- It's true folks!
Conduct - Whilst i am present in #arcona, you will follow the channel guidelines as layed down by our Consul. But, please refrain as much as possible from swearing in my presence. I do not really think it looks good, and other clans frown on this. I want this House to be the best, not have a reputation for being rude and arrogant Krath. Respect the other membership and you will get that back in return.
Other than that my Krath.......here's a little quote for you :)
