GJW: Solidarity - Update

Just to let everyone know that the Obelisk events for Phase 1 of the War are now out - thanks ever so to Shadow for getting them all uploaded for me!

Owing to the small delay in getting Obelisk events released, the due date for these submissions is 11.59pm EST 24th February 2003. There is a further level to come for JK2, and the due date for that one will be two weeks after its release date.

Since there seems to be some confusion on scoring, I thought I'd make a little clarification of it here:

  • Each separate event carries the following points:
    1st place: 15 points
    2nd place: 10 points
    3rd place: 5 points

  • Each submission on behalf of your Clan earns your Clan one point (hence the more you submit for, the more points you get). However you will not get those points if you do not adhere to submission guidelines. That means you MUST submit in the correct format, and you MUST send it to the right people, and you MUST send in your submission on time!

  • Run-on participation will be scored on percentage participation of the Clan.
E.g.: A Clan of 50 submits a run-on in which 25 people take part; this equates to 50%, which will garner the Clan 5 participation points.

Could I just remind you that if you do have queries on the scoring or any of the Events in the War, then please either speak to me, or one of the Order Leaders, or the CoG. I think I speak for all of us saying we'd rather you came and asked us than just assumed that something was the case.

How will clones be counted for participation in the run-on? Would a person who has three personas (1 Krath, 1 Obelisk, and 1 Sith) have to make three separate posts under each name? Would you only count each clone once?

As a clone is technically a separate and individual entity on the Brotherhood's rosters, each clone would need to make a post to the run-on to count as having made one. Hence if you have a Krath main persona, and a Sith clone, you would need to make at least one post under the Sith persona to gain the participation for that character.

Does that make sense? :)
