Galeres Quaestor Report for November 9th, 2003

Ok guys, welcome to my report for this past week and the week before that. I should probably be writing in RPG format but I really dont feel like it and Im running low on time this week. I have some important announcements to make this week. First of all, a lot of stuff has happened in the clan over the past weeks. Hopefully, all of you are informed as to the extent of the events. I will not go over them and I will not offer my opinion on them.

Sadly we have lost Acolyte Beowulf who was a valuable asset. With any luck, he will one day rejoin us. Exarch Dagger has been forced to take an indefinite leave as his RL has become much more hectic. Therefore I am removing Dagger as SGT of Soulfire. I will appoint a new SGT very soon. Do not apply for the position.

Templar Locust, our Aedile, has mysteriously disappeared within the past few days. I have had no contact with him but I hope this is just a temporary problem. If any of you see him, tell him to get in touch with me as soon as possible.

Exarch Alex will be acting as my special assistant for the time being. I am currently involved in the very time consuming task of college applications combined with many RL obligations that have suddenly come up. Hopefully this wont detract from my abilities too much but just in case they do, Exarch Alex will assume temporary command of the house if I randomly disappear. Now, in all likelihood there is a 99% Im not going to randomly disappear. But better safe than sorry. Alex will only assume this role if Templar Locust does not return from wherever he is. Thanks Alex for doing this for the house.

I am going to close the Clan Arcona JO Ladder. Too many people have dropped out of it and too many people are not playing their matches. I will still award medals though to those that did participate or tried to participate. Thanks to all that played. I am confident the ladder could have continued on for its full length if certain events of the past weeks had not occurred.

Lastly, an Obelisk-wide event will be coming to us within the next week. Keep an eye out for when it happens!

Brotherhood News

Ok guys I am not doing this. Really, I dont want to have to rehash everything that has been done the past few weeks in the brotherhood. When I write my reports, I will only include REALLY REALLY important announcements in this section. Otherwise, I expect you to go to the main site and read it yourself. That is all.

However there is something important to add this week. Mirei has been permanently banned from the Brotherhood. She is to be banned from all IRC channels on sight. This as ordered by the CoJ

Clan News

Oh man. Where to start. A lot of stuff has happened in the Clan this week.

First, Cyris Oscura, the Qel-Droma AED was promoted to Combat Master. Congrats Cyris!

At the same time, Tiss, the Qel-Droma QUA left Arcona leaving the summit empty.

Azazel was appointed QUA of Qel-Droma and he appointed Bograt as Qel-Droma AED. Congrats to both of them. I hope Qel-Droma will prosper under their leadership.

House News

First in the House this week, there will be a new SGT of Soulfire Brigade. Dagger has been forced to go on indefinite leave so I will be appointing someone to replace him.

Second, we have new mottos! Exarch Alex and Primarch Mage both received DCs for their winning submissions. Here are the new mottos:

Brigade Motto: Death; the look becomes you

Acolyte Drake Malone left us to join Tarentum. He intended to become Sith but I do not know if that has occurred yet. Good luck Acolyte
