Sith High Warrior Report

Capital Games

The biggest thing this week that directly affects the Sith Order is the new competition brought out by the Lord Chamberlain, Capital Games. I know a lot of people want the Order of Battle beefed up, and I know that the smaller Clans are badly in need of some fictional assets, so Capital Games is the way forward! I strongly encourage you all to get involved and take part, ship design is a lot of fun and we hope that the competition can fuel some activity. You never know, it might even provide some incentive to make a few missions :)

Singleplayer Challenges [SPCs]

A few people have asked me where you are suppossed to find missions to play a SPC, the answer: anywhere. It doesn't matter if you use the standard missions that come with TIE, XvT or XWA, or if you use any other player built missions (preferably that are bug free) that you have downloaded from somewhere. Since you're not actually submitting your pilot files to me or anyone to be graded it doesn't actually matter what you use- all that matters is you and your opponent fly the same thing.

Order of Battle Questions

I appreciate all the feedback that some of you have already given me in response to the Order of Battle. Much of what I've recieved has been well thought out and showed a real interest in it so hopefully we can use it to make some decisions about what to do in the future regarding ships- the first result, of course, being the Capital Games competition. This week though I want to ask something a little more specific: Dark Council Ships. Do you like them? Do you want them? What do you want? Do you like big things, do you like lots of little things? Please send any and all comments to [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

As a side note, Mav is going to help us establish a basic HTML Order of Battle, my thanks to Mav and look out for a nice looking online OoB sometime around Christmas.

Rogue Squadron III Poll

I've added a poll asking whether or not anyone owns RS3, if everyone could take ten seconds to reply I'd appreciate it. As you may know, Rogue Squadron III allows online gaming so I am curious to know how many of our members happen to own it, or are thinking of getting it.

EDIT: I'm told now that LucasArts actually abandoned online multiplayer support for RSIII just before it's release. Helpful that LA keep their websites updated, but, oh well... I'll leave the poll up though but it does seem as if the viability of RSIII as a platform isn't too good anymore.

Well that is all for this week. Unlike most people I don't have a life, so you can expect to see me around more over the holiday season. As grim a thing as my presence may be it actually means that I will be getting a lot more done for the Sith over the next few weeks so expect to see more from the Sith Office, and fingers crossed a working website in the very near future.

In Darkness,

High Warrior Xanos Zorrixor Sadow
