I am sorry it took so long to make my first report, but real life concern were upon me (Final Exams, Fall Semester).

Those who do not know me, I was a member of the DB until September 2002 when heart trouble forced me into a medical LoA. Four surgeries and two infections and an abcess later, I’m back. And what a mess I walk into; The Dark Brotherhood has split from the EH (Dollars to Doughnuts, Astatine (Asinine) had something to do with it.). When I left, Jeff “Tiger” Loruss was Quaestor and Crix was Commander of Shadowmorph while I was a Flightleader. Now Crix is (was) Quaestor and earned a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for trying to keep House Archanis afloat. Upon my return, Crix immeadiately asked me to take the position of Flight Commander. And its not long before even more trouble happens. Now down to business.

First, I would like to congratulate the following members for their recent achievements:

Now down to the bad news.

By now most of you must know that House Archanis has been closed and we have all been moved to House Dinaari of Taldryan and our Quaestor has been given the position of Rollmaster. Despite this, Crix is still our Leader and continues to deserve our respect and obedience. I am not to happy about sharing a house with a bunch of Obelisk ( groundpounders) and I’m sure no one else is either. We are Sith and House Archanis, the NOBLEST HOUSE in all of the Dark Brotherhood. We have fallen on some hard times but we can still pull out of this. It will not be easy, but it is not impossible (we, after all, are House Archanis).

Our first and hardest goal must be to gain new members. There are not many Sith and those are pretty evenly divided evenly divided among the houses. However there are a few among the rogue and an unknown amount at the Shadow Academy. If we can get to these before anyone else, we might be able to convince them to join us. So please, do some active recruiting both here and in RL. LucasArts is not making it any easier by not putting out any Starfighter games except in consule form. Remember the Sith also are the RTS practitioners of the DB so if anyone likes SW Galactic Battlegrounds – draw them in.

Second, I would like to see a bit more activity at the Shadow Academy. Everyone should complete the test of lore and the Sith Order exams if you have not already done so.

I know that some of us lost quite a few IWATS course credits in the split but we need to get credit for these remaining courses.

Third, Activity. All of us must get busy and start participating in the competitions, if you are not all ready. The more we win, the more prestige we get. Prestige means respect; respect means members. And medals. And promotions. And Please,Please,Please, show up at the online events. (for those with Tie Fighter, they have worked out a way for you to compete as well).

Fourth is a responsibility that I’m taking on myself. Mission Building. We lost almost all of our missions in the split. I have Tie Workshop and the full version of AlliEd. I am going to start making missions, battles and possibly campaigns. Feel welcome to join me in this pursuit.

Now, I’m done. Sorry for the rant but I want to see House Archanis return to its glory.
