Anyways, it's news time!

It's been a decent week for Galeres, and OK for me too. I just returned to good ol' Penn State (which is overrated), and I totally burned myself out writing for Capital Gains, which is why you didn't get a report from me last week.

As far as Capital Gains goes, Arcona had a great turnout- 19 submissions! One of 'em's gotta be a winner, right?! Tal had 25, but they're a bunch of wankers anyway.

Tal's winning the Obelisk Right of Supremacy (they're still wankers), and we're in last place. What's that mean? We need people playing JK, JO, and JA matches or else we'll be the laughing stocks of the DB. Props to Psyko, who remains the only one to've played matches for us. Also, I've had word that the next Great Jedi War is approaching swiftly. If you haven't been around for a Jedi War, this is the biggest competition that the Brotherhood will see all year. Arcona has yet to win a GJW since it became a Clan five years ago (I know, I was there), but we've always been second or third of all the clans. There will be events for everybody to participate in, so let's get ready to win it this time!

OK, that's really the only stuff I care about at the moment.

We had a big week in recruitment. It was kind of a surprise to me, since I'm not getting emails about new recruits for some reason =P

Two old heads have returned to our ranks, the excellent JK'er Kelric, and SO Darkfinn! I'm totally excited because I know what Kel and DF bring to the table, but we still need everyone's help if we're going to pull off a win in the upcoming Great Jedi War!

Also joining House Galeres are Apprentices Siloux, Raidoner, and Payableondeath (how did you like their new album, btw? I thought Satellite was better, though my roomate sticks by the brown album)! Welcome aboard, ladies and gents! Rock out some competitions and do cool stuff and you'll be Protectors in no time (seriously. i've promoted people twice in one day before, though i was drunk at the time.)

I've also got word that more Arcona expatriots may be returning... hope for the best :)

Awards:

Xiphias earned Crescents for his participation in the Sith Multiplayer nights, and Psyko received crescents for his wins in the Right of Supremacy. Way to represent the summit, boys! I swear, I'll install JK2 soon and play some matches :P

That's it for the report. I'll be out of touch until Sunday afternoonish, and I'll probably be a little out of it then, anyway. After all, it's time for the NFC Championship, and I gotta represent my boys by getting smashed. Go Eagles!
