Yay, Database Back!

First off I'd like to thank Jac, Cyberguy, Jam3z, Mav, CoFo and anyone I may have missed who have put the hours in the last few days to get the database back up. Great work guys :)

Sith Website & Battle Compendium

As can probably be appreciated the problems with the main database have meant that the Sith site has been sidetracked a little, though look out for it at www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/sith sometime in the near future. Similarly the Battle Compendium hasn't been able to have as much time devoted to it as the others, however I will be releasing the first version this upcoming weekend. It still needs a little work but for all practical purposes it is already working, so we'll be seeing it go live in a few days.

History and Headquarters

Work on the Sith History and Headquarters has continued this week, I'd estimate it as about 20% complete overall. The history is actually proving very complex as there is a lot of detail that can be included by combining the Brotherhood history and all the small, often unnoticed parts of the official Star Wars Timeline. I'm also planning on fleshing out the events following the assassination of Serpentis, who was the 'Sith' apprentice of Lord Darth, the first Dark Jedi. According to the Brotherhood history his apprentice killed him, so it is only appropriate that we reveal what happened to his descendants and how they rejoined, or perhaps didn't, the official Sith Empire formed by the descendants of the Wanderer.

Other Projects

Since this report is half a week late due to the downtime of the database I'll cut the reading time short and just do a lot of summarising. The Crest of the Strategist is practically redone, all that really needs doing is finalising approval of the new approach to the award, so hopefully by next report I'll be able to announce the new nature of the medal. In respect of the upcoming Fighter Gains competition the downtime of the database has naturally been Mav's priority over the last few days though development continues to plod along. I'm hoping this weekend to finalise the basic details so that we can have it ready to go in a fortnights time. Rest assured though my little Sith'lings, you will all have some nice ships to fly soon enough :)

UPDATE: Since I've been asked by a couple of people I thought I'd make a small mention of them here. The Clusters of Fire for last Sunday's Space Jam are currently in the mail, so you can expect to see your medals as soon as the Chancellor processes them :) Great work to everyone who took part, there were 17 total matches played!
