Third Sith War Update

No doubt you're all interested in the current Clan standings, so to give you all an idea of how you're doing this is how it currently works out to be:

Clan Arcona: 134

Clan Exar Kun: 15

Clan Naga Sadow: 81

Clan Satal Keto: 19

Clan Scholae Palatinae: 39

Clan Taldryan: 67

Clan Tarentum: 136

So good work to Clan Tarentum for leading, although Clan Arcona is only two points behind so it could go either way. Not forgetting that it is still only the first week, and we have all month and two whole weeks of March yet to go, so if people really work hard anything could happen. Nobody should be discouraged though, as I said, the Sith War did only begin a week ago, so there is still loads of time to change things, and don't forget about Single Player! Strangely for a Sith War there has been little Single Player activity so far, and you get six points just for participation, so make sure to find ten minutes- and they honestly only take ten minutes each- to fly the battles!

Notice about Multi Player Events

Just a reminder that the standard match format was set out last week for a reason, and that if people are found to not be following it then they will earn themselves a nice negative number for their Clan. The Grand Master has made it clear himself that he will not condone cheating, nor people being overly selective in who they play, for that is still considered cheating. Though I may not be as cruel as to send people to the Chamber of Justice, I will be as cruel as to penalise their Clans should they not play fairly. You have been warned.

New Rules pertaining to the ACC Ladder

Since the ACC Ladder has had a lot more participation than I had otherwise expected it has been decided that unfinished matches will not earn points. I understand that this may seem a little harsh, but if you put it in perspective it is no different than should someone drop out of an Allegiance or XWA Multi Player match early, for those matches would generally be considered lost and so it is only fair that ACC matches be treated in the same respect.

I would also like to put forward a request that people try not to play more than around five matches at any one time. I'm not going to police this, but this has been done in past ACC competitions and admittedly it just slipped my mind when planning the Third Sith War. At the end of the day I'm sure we'd all rather see five good fights, than a dozen fights that have been rushed to get finished.

Battleplan and Mission Design Events Update

Since I have been asked about this a couple of times I'll let you all know here. The Battleplan and Mission Design sections should be up in a few days, early this coming week at the latest, so you should be able to get to work on these soon.

Other Projects

Well, honestly, the Third Sith War has taken up far more of my time this first week than I had ever anticipated, and so I have not made as much progress on the Order of Serpentis and the Sith Headquarters as I had promised last week, my appologies there. As far as Sith: CORE goes I am pleased to say that I have read through the final draft and I think it is a good improvement, and it is currently nearing approval from the Headmaster's office, so you may well see this released sometime in the next few days, my thanks to Malik Sadow for his hard work.
