The Houses are merged now, so we’re all free to do what we please where platforms are concerned. Obbies can fly; Sith can run around and shoot/saber things.

ACTIVITY (Sith Centered):

This week Armus did us proud by doing the MP thing in Allegiance.

Cam’k Seale asked what he could do to get promoted. I look forward to the day I have the honour of conferring the rank of GRD upon him…hopefully that will be in the next few weeks.

Sadly, I didn’t completely fulfill my personal expectations this week. My parents’ computer sucks too much to even play TIE! Something’s wrong with the soundcard and the game won’t run because of it. Perhaps one of those ten or so error messages on startup has something to do with it. Not that I can do much, since the machine won’t even let Scandisk go all the way through. I go back to an actual working computer tomorrow. Needless to say, there will be much flying done next week.

On the plus side I DID challenge 4 people in the ACC, 2 have responded so far. One battle has just started; the other is over, having resulted in my victory. That’s 3 points for CSK's Sith War effort right there.

-Every little bit helps. It can’t hurt. Plus it gets the various Summits off your backs…for awhile :P

If there are any Sith who have done something that I’ve missed, let me know.

Special thanks again to Waza for creating the CSK_Sith group for us. That will come in handy in the future.

All Kirletan’s should, as a minimum, fly one SP mission and do the screenshot thing. Feel free to do as much of the other stuff as you can; we need all cylinders firing on this one.

ACC battles are a good way to participate, as will be the Clan Battleplan as soon as the details for that are released.

FLIER’S CHOICE comp!

Okay, I’ve just gotten in touch with one of my co-renters back in the city. I now present to you the missions for this comp.

There are 3 categories for you to place in. TIE, XvT, and XWA.

TIE: (from the game itself) Battle 4 mission 1, The Habeen Convoy.

XvT: (from the game itself) the concussion missile training mission.

XWA: Download the file attached to this email.

Highest scores win. In the case of a tie the first submission wins. KILL, KILL, KILL!

This comp will go until March 26th; that’s 27 days away. It doesn’t overlap much with the Sith War, and there’s more than enough time to fly at least one of the missions. It’s open to everyone in the House. I look forward to your submissions.

-Join the ACC and do horrible, horrible things to one another. Please be considerate, however, by keeping things realistic and SW based. It defeats the purpose of having earned a saber when a NOV simply gives himself a Sith sword or some other uberweapon that is indestructible or kills a thousand men in one swing, etc.

-Join the run-on training team and learn how to help your Clan in future comps. Contact Dalthid and Gord.

-The Dark Voice, could always use fiction submissions….I’ll even help you edit stuff (depending on how much time I have).

-There are always Shadow Academy courses for your enlightenment.

-You can always do some MP flying and earn yourself some awards. The High Warrior has now made it possible for us to do MP style activities with SP platforms.

“A Singleplayer Challenge (or SPC for short) is a way in which we can make use of platforms like TIE and an encouragement for those unable to play formal MP matches to still come along and have a go at earning Clusters of Fire. The idea is that two people can agree on a mission and a time limit and race to get a high score, or quickest mission time, at the Training Night. After deciding on the details they both have to get their pilot file to the Host before the end of the time limit who will award the win based on who gets the highest score, or quickest mission time, or whatever the details might be.”

The source of the mission doesn’t matter (it can be downloaded from anywhere on the internet, or be from within the standard missions of the platform itself).

-MP ground combat is also a good option. I’m looking into that myself.

-If there’s anything else you can think of doing, do it! Initiative is always a good thing and looked upon highly.
