House Cestus Report for 2-29-2004

This is a very short report, for good reason. Maybe you guys will actually read it. :)

So, what to say. The replies to the last House report I sent were extremely low (3 people, 1 who's on inactive duty). So, leaders aside...that means we only have a grand total of 3 people who have any interest in the Dark Brotherhood? I don't think so. I think alot of you are here, and just want to have a fun time, and not bother with the technical crap. You don't want to read huge long reports, you want to play some games! So, I'm not going to put as much information in this report as I did the others. This ones different. Want to have fun? Read the following step by step instructions below. Corny, yes, but maybe it'll work.

Extremely Important, Read this. To have fun and be active do the following

1. Go to http://www.mirc.com

2. Click the link "download mirc"

3. Choose the download location closest to you, and download the program

4. Once it's downloaded, install the program and run it, click "continue".

5. Fill in the values (Name, E-mail address, Nickname (should be your DB name)

6. Click the "servers" option under the connect category. For IRC network, find the network "undernet" and select it

7. Now under "irc server" click "Underne: Random EU server"

8. Click connect to server, and wait for it to connect

9. Once connected, click "ok" and type /join #DB

10. You'll be in a channel with a bunch of other Dark Brotherhood members. Ask someone for a Jedi Knight, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Allegiance, X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter, or X-Wing Alliance match. Or just chat with other members.

11. If you want, you can join the official House Cestus and Clan Tarentum channel by typing /join #Tarentum.

12. Logging on to IRC is very simple once you learn. After the first time, it's a piece of cake. This is where you will have fun in the Dark Brotherhood. It's where you can find multiplayer games, or links to download singleplayer levels. You can chat with us. You can do almost anything on IRC. If you see someone with the nickname "Cannabisa", double click the name and say Hello!
