House Report for 3-6-2004

Hey everyone. Been a pretty hectic week for me, just started my College classes on Tuesday and well...homework really sucks. :P I'm glad to be going though, it feels good to be doing something productive in my life. I've been out of school a few years now, so I think it's going to take me awhile to get back into the swing of things. It shouldn't affect my DB work too much I don't suspect, but you never really know how things will turn out. Alright, on with the report.

• AWOL Check
  

There's an AWOL check being ran throughout the House to flush out the inactives. It started Tuesday, March 2'nd, 2004 and will end in ten days. You need to e-mail me personally at my address: [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with the subject "AWOL Check", saying something along the lines of "I'm still here". Be sure to include your ID Line in the e-mail! If you don't leave me a name of some sort, I will have no idea who you are and mark you awol. What that means is, you'll be removed from the House Cestus roster and be placed into the Rogues. After that, you'll be removed from the Dark Brotherhood entirely and if you ever wish to rejoin again, it will have to be at the starting rank of Apprentice. So if you're here and still interested in the Dark Brotherhood, toss me an email by Tuesday, March 16'th, 2004. So far I've only recieved three replies, so if you haven't e-mailed me yet please do so.

The Third Sith War is a competition to decide which Clan hold's the title of "1'st Clan of the Sith". Although a Sith oriented Vendetta by nature, the third Sith War can be viewed as a special case. Currently, our neighboring House Tridens hold the Title of 1'st House of the Sith, and with our help they (and infact, the entire clan) will be able to continue to hold that title. What this means is that anyone can participate in this, regardless of your Order, and earn participation points. All information can be found on the website linked above.

• Interclub Training Event
  

This is a really cool event that everyone should participate in if they can find the time. Every Saturday, members of the Dark Brotherhood, Rebel Squadrons, and other online clubs meetup to play multiplayer games such as Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, and Allegiance. It takes place on IRC in the channel #OuterRim. It starts at 4 PM EST and lasts about 8 hours.

This is very important if you want to be an active member of Cestus, and have a fun time in the Dark Brotherhood. It's a free chat program (and much more than that!) where you can meet up with other DB members and discuss anything you'd like. You can send files, and even arrange multiplayer matches! You can download it (it's free) at the link above. Once you install it fill in the values such as name, e-mail address, etc and log on to an Undernet server such as Random EU Server: eu.Undernet.Org or something of the like. Once connected join channels #DB and #Tarentum. If you have any questions about IRC, just e-mail me and ask away.
