Once a year this time will come that we can look back on the accomplishments of the Brotherhood. So be it that at this time we may also look and award those who we feel have contributed to the growth and development of the Brotherhood as a whole. These members have worked hard to make this club a great place to be, showing that we can and will survive on our own.

With that Firefox and I offer my congratulations to the brothers and sisters who I hereby award the Brotherhood's Seal of Loyalty.

I would be remiss however if I didn't mention the achievements of the brotherhood leaders themselves

FireFox and I hereby also award the following Seals of Loyalty.

Bloodfyre: Always stable and hard-working, BF has brought Tarentum back from near inactivity to be one of the strongest clans.

Kir: Dedicated to the end and efficient in his running of Taldryan. Kir has proven himself a very capable leader.

Khan: Loyalty is the essence of the award, and anyone else without Khan's dedication would have left the clan to its demise as Alvaak. One of the most loyal members ever.

Dalthid: Dalthid's intentions are always in the right place. He is consistent and on the ball.

Tissaya: Invaluable in many areas of the brotherhood, Tiss has made a remarkable impact this year

Jam3z: What can we say about Jam3z? Well -- we wouldn't be here without his work. That's what we can say.

And from the Dark Council

Mav: No one can possible put more time into the welfare of the DB than Mav has over the past year. He has come back full-force and Firefox and I recognize that he has been a great factor in out own personal stability as well that of the DB. No one deserves this more.

Kaiann: Always working towards a common good, Kaiann and I have, I believe, come to understand each other over the last year. He is a good man, dedicated to the Shadow Academy and to Rebirth. He has opened my eyes to new ways of approaching things and taken the initiative to do things like the IGames. Kaiann is one of the most valuable members we have.

Cyberguy: Loyalty to the DB drives CG and his office. They want to see this club be the best it can be. Anyone else would have quit in the face of so much work. CG has instead taken it on with drive.

Goatham: Always up for debating the issues, Goat has been a great source for ideas and inspiration. The Sith War was a remarkable piece of work and Goat's constant advancement with the Sith will serve to reinvigorate the order.

Alanna: Dedication and stability come to mind when you mention her name. Lannie has been with us for many long years and has worked consistently and without complaint. She is most deserving of this.

Trev: Always looking for more work, Trev has stepped in as Oracle nicely. I think we can all agree that the latest Dark Voice was the greatest in a long time, if not ever. The Dark Side Compendium is coming along nicely and I consider Trev and invaluable asset.

Me: Firefox told me that I am getting one of these. I will use this as an opportunity to tell you all that I am going nowhere. 8 and a half years of membership and I won't quit until the DB is perfect.

and finally, Chi-Long: A great help during the split and beyond, Chi could have said goodbye to the DB long ago, yet he helps without want or gain. He represents the type of dedication we all need more of.

Don't feel that if you didn't get an award today that you aren't liked or weren't loyal. We had a limited number of awards to work with and tried to choose the most outstanding based on the very call of loyalty. Everyone in the DB deserves our gratitude.

Yaaaaaaaaay for being tired and busy!

I missed two full days of class this week due to some bad happenings with my fraternity. Evidentially our president is a moron and hasn't been doing his job for 20 weeks. So I had to straighten it out.

Add on the website problems and this has been a decently crappy week.

But it is the week of our independence day, so that makes me happy. Holy god -- it's been a year already...that's crazy

Going out on the town for my best friend's birthday tonight. should be fun.

I won't be around as much next week due to a series of activities with my girlfriend. Sorry!

For almost a year now Halcyon has been a shining example of stability and good work in the DB. He has some of the best reports, has kept a constant wave of competitions moving and has been influential in a number of areas on the DB. Halc has contributed a great deal to our growth, but has never been appropriately awarded for this. He deserves much more than what he has, and so from this day forward, Halcyon will be known as a Dark Adept. Congratulations!

Here's the deal -- some script on the server is jacked up and causing the ASP functions of the server to go haywire. They are trying to find one or two files amongst about a million, so it's taking a bit. We have moved the DB site to a new physical server and it seems stable now. If problems persist we will work something out so people can still get news from the site (like through PHP)
