Taldryan Consul Report 5-2-04

Well this is a fun and not so fun upcoming week for me. Its exam week, which means that I’ll be spending a LOT of time studying, but it’s also my last week of school until next August, so I’m pretty happy about that. I’ll try to take a few study breaks and get onto IRC, and I’ll still be answering emails so don’t worry about that. I’m leaving on Thursday for a short post-school vacation and I’ll be gone until Sunday, so I might respond slowly during those times. Alright, report time, lets go.

DB News

-The second annual Dark Brotherhood Independence Games are still on! These were first held last year and were a tremendous success, so you should all check them out this year! Here’s a quick description of them: Every leader from Aedile up submits a different competition idea, and they are all collected and put on a website. Then you can pick which ones you want to participate in to earn points for your Clan! You can do 3-4 events, or every single one (there will probably be around 40 total), whichever you like! They’re fun and great warm-up for the GJW!

Kaiann announced the awards for the people with the most participation in the IG this year. If there are enough total submissions there is a possibility to get a Sapphire Blade!

-The CoG has stepped down, and Jac has announced that it will now become a Quasi-DC position like Combat Master and Baron (guy in charge of the DBs SWG portion.

-Also, a position of “Lord Marshal” has been created; this is a Main Body DC spot that will now be in charge of all Guilds, Societies and Multiplayer event Coordination.

-Former Ektrosis member Aragorn has been named CON of CSP, congrats to him!

-DGM Jac has released the details of “Prestige” and “Credits”, two new systems that are a huge part of Rebirth! Everyone should read over these systems and get really excited about how cool they are! You can read about them here:

– Weekly Multiplayer Competitions –

Members of ALL orders are welcome at all of these weekly Multiplayer competitions, and you are welcome to play ANY game platform sanctioned by the Brotherhood (i.e. JK, JO, JA, XvT, XWA, and SWGB). Cluster of Fire medals will be given out for every 1 victory or 3 losses, and the player with the most wins for each event also receives a Crescent! These events are great ways of staying active while honing your skills and earning medals all at the same time!!

To make it easier for score tracking, please try and use the following report format if possible: Winners report to the host - PLATFORM (PIN#1) PLAYER#1 SCORE – (PIN#2) PLAYER#2 SCORE

Taldryan News

-I started a Clan wide PRT-and under AWOL check this week. If you are ranked APP, NOV, ACO, PRT then you need to EMAIL ME, KIR, AND ONLY ME. Since some people seemed to not get this, I’ll make it more apparent:

-Ektrosis QUA Mal’ari’carun has gone on a leave of absence for about 10 days. So if you need anything, email either AED Dark Sabre or myself.

-It’s time for me to announce two new members of the Cohors Praetoria, so for the next two weeks I have chosen…Locust and Nexusmage! Locust was the ICTE all-star this week, and Nexusmage has a great IRC presence, congrats to both!

-Last week I released the Taldryan Sects, and I’ve added a few people here and there. From what I’ve seen so far people are doing some talking, but I want to see more, so get chatting everyone!!!

-Also, it is approaching the 1 year anniversary of my appointment to the position of Taldryan Consul. Being the generous person I am, I will be giving out some awards to Clan members who I think have earned it to celebrate this most awesome of days, so watch out for that!
