More from the Emissary
Greetings everyone,
Well -- it's been a few days since my last news post. I've moved home for Spring Break and have been bombarded with my parents with stuff to do. Then on top of that -- my computer won't stay on for more than 20 minutes anymore. I am replacing the power supply today, but until then I am using my parents computer. This means I will be slower with e-mail. If there is anything that needs replying to and I haven't yet, send it again to [Log in to view e-mail addresses].
Sooo -- to catch up, I am going to finish out my little duty explanation:
Duty 7: Provide an open forum for ideas from the Consuls of each clan
If any of you remember the Assembly of Consuls, you will remember that the Consuls often had suggestions to the Dark Council. These suggestions went toward changing DB policy in ways that would benefit the clans and streamline activity. My position requires me to look for these opportunities, as well as look into and potentialy act on the suggestions of the Clan Leadership.
Duty 8: Give opportunity to resolve problems without involving higher authorities
There are a lot of little things that go on within clans and between clans that can be resolved easily and before they erupt. I will be working to resolve any issues that should arise before they get to the GM/SO.
Duty 9: Help the Consuls speak in one voice about the problems in the Brotherhood
Just like the duty I spoke of just before, it is my job t9o help the Consuls make themselves heard on that Dark Council. I will be reflecting their feelings to the DC, helping to get things going for the Clans.
Duty 10: Provide a Central Clan Website for resource purposes

Consuls, consuls...hmmm...who cares about scrub Quaestors. OK Consuls are VIP and they decide of our lifes everyday. But we are the spine of Clans...we want to speak too.

I can see where you are coming from Rexal, but to be honest, it'll prolly make it easier for people if you work through your Consul.
It means that Emissary Jac has one direct and clear representative of the Clan to talk to, it alos allows your Consul to check out nay ideas first and perhaps improve/pick up on any flaws.
It isn't really that Quaestor's are ignored, but if you are a QUA it should be expected you have an excellent working relationship with the Clan summit.
If your CON DOESN'T deal with it appropriately then I would go to EMS Jac.
Shhh everyone. Jac only wants to outdo Mage in regards to newsposts. Doesn't mean they really contain much new info :o)

Speaking as a Clan Summit, we actually prefer that you move through us, so that way we can steal your ideas and claim credit and earn fat promotions, medals, kewl weapons, hoors, pimp rides, and all kinda props.
