Episode 1: Don't be a Phantom Menace to Mos Eisley while drinking your juice under a hood.

Muz stared through the transparisteel window as the transport left, dark blue stripes marking it as an Obelisk ship. He bowed his head, watching the ship rocket away, toward the Primus Goluud base. Stepping back from the window, he turns, muttering a nearly inaudible "Good Luck, Zacfer."

Sitting down to his desk, he began to go through the events of that week in his head. His head still rang from the sake he had downed with his brother Manji to celebrate his ascension to Dark Jedi Knight, and then to Tetrarch of the Avatars of Death. Two phyles, Two brothers. The symbolism might have moved a superstitious man, but Muz had more important things weighing on his mind. More Independence Games had been judged placing Naga Sadow closer to the bottom. It bothered him, but it was not terribly forefront in his mind.

There had been a disturbance in the Force. He had felt it whenever he had corresponded with Command on Antei. He felt that something sinister had happened in the Star Chamber. And the salty scent of the tides of War had breached his nostrils time and again. He would have his men train hard this week, and pray that it was enough for them to survive the coming dark.

PHYLE ACTIVITY: Great Jedi War has begun. Participation is a good way to get medals and promotions. Copy me on your submissions.

DJK Zacfer has elected to leave our Phyle to become Obelisk, and lend some of his expertise to aid the flagging Primus Goluud.  Good luck, Zacfer.  

Also, there are three comps for Night Hawk Phyle Members only.  Emotive Outburst, Song of the Night Hawk, and the Tetrarch Trivia.  *Dangles medals in front of them*  You know you want them...  

I'm also running a Roll Call.  That means everyone has to check in with me.  Send me an email, copy me on a competition submission, complete a shadow academy course, win a medal, anything that finds it's way to my email with your name on it works fine.  Show me you are alive and kicking by June 4th.  No one is on LoA as far as I know, so this should be no issue.

HOUSE ACTIVITY: Great Jedi War has begun.

Nekura Manji Keibatsu, my brother, has been appointed Tetrarch of the Avatars of Death phyle.  Also, Manji was promoted to DJK.  Congrats.  Wanna know why he's my brother?  Because we wrote it up in a long series of stories.  What's this got to do with you?  Nothing, unless you're trying to look like a pimp.  It's real easy to look like a pimp, all you have to do is submit something to me without my asking for it.  Oh, and wear a purple leopard print hat.  By the way, I'll let you into a little secret: Voluntary service gets medals and promotions easier, provided the service kicks butt.  Why?  Because you aren't competing if no one else knows about it.

CLAN ACTIVITY: Great Jedi War has begun. Seeing a pattern here? Hmm. Must be important then, huh?

And how nice am I?  Nice enough to hold a Clan-wide competition, Breathe Life.  Character development fiction, 3 pages TNR.  And you know what 'Clan-wide' means?  It means that if you win, it's a much nicer medal than the ones you can get from a Night Hawks Only comp.  But in order to win this comp, you have to submit.  It's a long comp, but I know we have some talented writers around here, and there's a long time to get it done in.    

Great Jedi War needs everyone to go and fight, lest our clan is bested by the slack-jawed yokels we have for enemies.

BROTHERHOOD ACTIVITY: Highest priority is the Great Jedi War. It's on. Go participate, and help our clan dominate this conflict. I tire of seeing Naga Sadow's name at the bottom of every list of winners. We are better than this. We have the skill, we have the ability, we must grow the determination. Let us wear the name of Sadow in pride!

Looking for a quick comp?  Do the KMTs.  They're due at the end of the month (read: monday), so haul arse if you haven't done so already.    

ICTE on Saturday afternoons, people.  Satal Keto has been dominating this thing lately, but there's no reason we can't get in there and put up a little fight.

DECORATIONS AWARDED: Erlandil Valenthort and Muz Ashen each were awarded a Star of Antei for services rendered during the IG and general pimpness.

SHADOW ACADEMY COURSES: StarLion scored a perfect on the IRC basics course. Well done.

Erlandil Valenthort achieved perfect scores on both the Sith Core and Sith Flight Studies II: ESET exams.  He also aced the Obelisk Core test.  Congratulations, Erlandil.

COMING MISSION ASSIGNMENTS: Everyone, and I mean everyone needs to get out there and participate in the Great Jedi War. Medals and Promotions are common rewards for taking part. True to my word, I have initiated a couple of competitions exclusively for the Night Hawk Tyros.  There's a Poetry comp (Emotive Outburst), a Fiction comp (Song of the Night Hawk), and the Trivia comp (Tetrarch Trivia).  Why am I doing these?  So that you all can get lots of shiny medals, and polish your skills.  So go and participate.    

I am still collecting your old fictions and stuff for the website.  Stick 'em up.  Wanna help with the site work?  Wunderbar.  email me for details on how you, too can look like a viking...even earn a medal... provided of course that you live through the experience.  ...Come from the land of the ice and snow...

SYNAPSIS: The GJW has started! get out there, there are five Krath themed assignments. Even if you don't like to play the other platforms, try it. We need to start beating our enemies down in the name of Naga Sadow! Beat down! Arania claims that she has retired from writing competitions, which loses CSP one of their primary ways of kicking arse. If we up our game now, we can weasel our way up the standings.

You know what I like?  Opening my email program and finding dozens of emails about or from you people.  Promotions, Medals, submissions, ideas, even just little things that you thought up.  Why?  Well, mostly because I'm bored at work a lot.  So submit to a lot of comps.  Copy me on the emails, so I have something to read, and even if you don't win that comp, I'll know you were up to something, and that is a Good Thing (tm).
