Krath High Priestess Report

Greetings Krath,

Firstly, I'd like to thank Tissaya for not trashing my office while I was away ;o)

I'm glad to report that the archaeological dig is progressing well and turning up some very interesting finds.

I have some results for last month's 'The Force' poetry topic. Congratulations go to Epis Dalthid of Qel-Droma for an excellent piece of writing, placing above all others and earning him a ruby crescent. Archpriest Vassan also of Qel-Droma composed some excellent writing and earnt an amethyst crescent, whilst Dark Adept Gilkane of Byss is to be likewise commended for his writing, and rewarded with a sapphire crescent.

I would like to commend all who took the time to enter the poetry competition, for there was no piece of writing entered which would bring shame to the Krath. Our order goes from strength to strength and I feel that I do not emphasis often enough how excellent is the general standard of writing that we see repeated month after month.

Tissaya's 'Feral Sheep' topic is now closed, and the results for that will be announced shortly.

We have two new topics for you to explore. I will be hosting a short story topic 'Déjà Vu'. You are to write a maximum of 2 pages TNR 10 pt (or equivalent), and leave it on my desk by the end of the month [submit to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] in .txt or .doc].

Ciara will this month be hosting the poetry topic 'Obsession'. Her instructions to you are to keep it short and to pour as much as you can into the fewest possible lines. Make it provocative, original, dripping with pure, raw, emotion. Any form of poetry will be accepted, but it must be kept at or under 10 lines. You should leave this in her office again by the end of the month [submit to Ciara: [[Log in to view e-mail addresses]] in .txt or .doc].

I would also remind a certain jedi that you are to report to my office for a debrief [http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=459]. You know who you are.

~ Krath High Priestess, the Dark Adept Lady Alanna

[OOC: The short KMT topics are to contrast with the long Epic competition.]
