This week has shown an incredible change in personnel throughout the Clan. Our own Commander, DJK M`Kel Kahn, has moved off to bigger and better things. We salute him in his endeavors as a House Summit. In the realm of the Great Jedi War, Tuesday the 6th marked the beginning of the events for Chapter Two. Numerous clans have either declared war on or made alliances with many other clans. As the shroud continues to dampen the Dark Council’s influence on the clans, Great War has broken out. The influence of the Shadows in this Great War can not be underestimated, I’m sure. Due to the absence of our Commander, I have taken temporary control of Delphian Squadron until a replacement can be nominated.

Beyond a doubt, the most important competition the Brotherhood ever sees, the Fifth in the line of wars is upon us. With Chapter II unfolding, it becomes more and more apparent that this chapter will hold great importance for the clan’s advances for the rest of the war. Indeed, the very welfare of Satal Keto and the survival of the Star Chamber at are stake.

RUN-ON: Currently, Consul Darkonian has or is distributing several classified mission briefs for several volunteers of the clan. If you want to take part in this important service to the clan, it is suggested that you email Gord IMMEDIATELY.

GATHER: In your attempts to fulfill the objectives as outlined by Gord Darkonian, you may unveil many clan secrets and intelligence about the Dark Council itself and the shroud that surrounds Antei. Write about this information you find and how it came into your ownership. (1 page min, 12pt times, 1” margins, *.DOC format)

INCURSION: As we wage war against our many foes, our clan, and undoubtedly Delphian Squadron itself will encounter glorious battles on its way toward total domination above all other clans. Discuss how you spend your time during the war, and any battles you fight for the greater good of the clan. (2 pag min, 12pt times, 1” margins, *.DOC format)

MULTI-PLAY: Beyond a doubt, as the clans clash, there will be battles of space, ground, and paper to determine who is indeed the more superior clan. You can fight with JK, JO, JA, XvT, XWA, Allegiance, or through the Antei Combat Chamber.

GRAPHICS: Depict a battlescene from the Great Jedi War. Submit as *.jpg, *.gif, *.bmp, or a *.zip of multiple files.

BE ACTIVE. Do as much as you possibly can until the end of Chapter 2, and the three most active people receive crescents. Events include everything from the GJW, in addition to anything else that can be counted as activity. ANYTHING counts!

How to download IRC and join #CSK.

Go to: http://www.mirc.com/get.html and select a download location nearest to you. Save the file on your computer. Once you have downloaded it, install mIRC. You will respond to questions with answers like “Next,” “Yes,” “Install,” and then “Finish.”

Once you install IRC, just press “continue” instead of registering. Next, a new window will pop up. Type in a name, e-mail address, and a nickname that you want people on IRC to see you as. (Note, I wouldn’t put your real name or real email address in the info if I were you).

Next, on the left, there is a menu list. Expand the “connect” tab until you see something called “servers.” Click on this. Then, from the pull down list “IRC Network:” choose “Undernet.” Then, from the “IRC Server:” pull down, select any of the servers you like. Some will be able to connect you to IRC, while others will not. When you have chosen your preferred server, simply click “Connect to Server.” While connecting, if it says your nickname is taken, simply type “/nick newnickhere” where “newnickhere” is just the new nickname you choose.

Once you connect successfully, a new folder will appear that says “mIRC Channels Folder.” In the textbox near the top, type #CSK and then click join. You will now join our Clan channel where you can type things and chat with others from Satal Keto. It’s not too difficult once you get the hang of it! Good luck.
