Taldryan Consul Report 8-1-04Report # 64
Well it was a slow week, probably due to the fact that its a GJW break week. Ill mention this again in the Clan News section, but Im going to be gone for a good portion of the next two weeks on vacation and thats going to be during Chapter 3, so all of you are going to have to submit like crazy without me here to remind you! Ok, on to the report.

-Chapter 3 is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday (tomorrow). It is supposed to last only TEN days, so well all have to get our submissions in really fast!
-Chapter 2 scores should be released either today or tomorrow, if the next chapter does indeed start on Monday

Clan Taldryan News
-Im going to be on LoA for most of the next two weeks, because first Im helping my friend move to his new college in Tennessee, and then Im going on a camping trip for a week. So I will be gone the following days:
Tuesday, August 3 thru Friday, August 6 (helping friend move)
Monday, August 9 thru Friday, August 11 (camping trip)
Im also performing in a show (I play guitar/piano) with my friends on August 7, so that takes more time! So I probably wont be around much after Monday until after the 11th. If Chapter 3 does start on Monday, then Ill try to submit to everything I can before I leave the next day, but that probably wont be very much. And since the next chapter is only 10 days long, I wont be around for the rest of it, so Ill be relying on all of you to keep Taldryan up top!
Obviously Sharad and Shadow are in charge while Im away (heads up for Shadows thrustage)
-If you look at the promotion section of this report youll notice that there were quite a few promotions this past week. Most of these were given for GJW activity! Now dont feel bad if you didnt get anything yet, because all that means is Im waiting for the end of the GJW to give you either a promotion or a big medal!
-Ive been working these last few days on a few of the Clan projects, including the Codex and some other ones. Theyre coming along very well and after the GJW is over Ill be asking for volunteers for some aspects of these projects, so keep an eye open for that.
-And some personal news, Ive changed orders back to Obelisk! I was originally an Obelisk when I joined the DB, but when I returned after my extended LoA I switched to the rogues because I didnt own JO. Well now I own JO and JA so I figured it was time to switch back to my roots, yay Obelisk!
-Ive gotten a new Taldryan JO server for all you JO players to use! You can find it here...IP: 66.246.72.196 Password: Talpwnz
-All Clan Projects and Programs are on hold for the duration of the GJW.
DB News
-Some news posts on the website are still in character, while others are going back to normal reports, so it will be a mix from now on
-If youve been having trouble writing fiction about the other Clans in the Brotherhood because you dont know anything about where they live help has arrived! The KHP has released a temporary website that has Clan System information on it. Mav and Flech are working on a permanent one, but until then you can use this: http://www.krath.org/clans.php
-The HM is now taking applications for the position of Eclectic Pedagog of the Leadership Course of the Shadow Academy, send in your applications now.
The Weekly Multiplayer Competitions are still going on regardless of the GJW. The dates and times can be found on the Clan Taldryan website in the competitions section.
Headmaster Kaiann has been awarded an Emerald Dagger for his contributions to the Brotherhood, congratulations to him!
-The Krath Monthly Topics (KMTs) for July will be graded very soon, and the August KMTs will be released today or tomorrow. While these are good writing exercises that I like to see our members complete, I STRESS that GJW events should take precedence over these!
