On this, the 16th Day of the eighth Month in the Year of our Lord Firefox I bid ye welcome from the Halls of the Antei Combat Center.

I know I have been remiss in my reports over the last few of weeks, and for this I can but apologize. Work has taken its tole - about 60 hours a week, as of late. For those of you who don't know, I'm a manager at the local IHOP on the graveyard shift (not bad for someone who just turned 19 a week ago! ;P), and we were just bought by a franchisee (we have been a Corporate store in the past), so we have been preparing for many changes. My time constraints will undoubtably change once the new owner takes over (he owns eight other IHOPs, so he obviously knows what he's doing, lol), so expect to see reports regularly in the future.

Archeological Innovations

The other lack you may have noticed is in the area of promised changes to the Antei Combat Center. The reason (for those of you who have yet to surmise it) is the Great Jedi War. With the ACC being such a large part of it, I figured everyone would compete their best if not having to adjust to any great changes at the same time. Rest assured, when the GJW reaches completion, you will once more find yourself bombarded by changes for the better, as well as new (and innovative) competitions.

However, one thing I wish to note before moving on (which I have previously stated, but wish to reiterate): I am no longer accepting applications for the Echani fighting style. Once the GJW is through, I will be e-mailing all those who have Echani selected and should not, requesting that they remove it as a fighting style. If you wish to make this process easier, please change it now and send me an e-mail so I can remove you from a rather long list.

The influx of activity witnessed in the halls of the Antei Combat Center makes me very happy - and while I know the majority of that activity owes its origin to the Great Jedi War, I hope that many of you will find that you enjoy competiting in the ACC enough to continue after this competition has reached its end. Our purpose is to make sure you get the most enjoyable experience out of the DB by offering yet one more method of competition - to those of you who plan on staying after the GJW, we welcome you to our Halls.
