Hello everyone! Well its been another one of those in-between GJW Chapters weeks where not much of anything happens. I know Ive been saying that Chapter 4 should start sometime this week because thats what I was told! Well hopefully it will start this upcoming week, so we can dominate the next chapter, win the GJW, and get on with our normal DB lives!

-Well I just want to say again what a good job everyone did in Chapter 3! We had 362 submissions, which is absolutely outstanding, way to go!
-Chapter 4 should be starting soon, and also I hope that the Chapter 2 & 3 results get released soon. I guess all we can do at this point is cross our fingers and hope things happen quickly!

Clan Taldryan News
-I put up a new topic on the Taldryan Message board that I would like everyone to take a look at and then post their opinions. The topic can be found here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/message_board/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2371. Its entitled, What bugs you? and basically I want to know what about the DB dont you like, do you think could be done better, and any other ideas you have. Id like to see a good discussion on this topic, so everyone go post! (and keep posting!)
-The MAA finally got my AWOL list last week, and therefore 20 former-Taldryan members were AWOLd. Now because we had fewer members than the rest of the Clans after that clearing-out, and because of how the database works we got a bunch of new transfers in this week, and already gained back a lot of people. Fortunately this batch of new recruits contained some active additions, so overall Im happy!
-Just to let everybody know, Im probably going to start doing monthly AWOL checks to keep Taldryans numbers at a reasonable level. Most of these will be GRD-and-under checks, since they are usually the ones who go AWOL. So if youre a GRD or under and arent AWOL, sorry about all the emails, but I guess thats some incentive to get promoted!
-I didnt get any more work done on the Codex this week, but I did write up some stuff for the first Tal Times issue (more on that after the GJW) and edited the Taldryan webpage and the new member welcome email to be more specific about orders and Houses.
-Ive gotten a new Taldryan JO server for all you JO players to use! You can find it here...IP: 66.246.72.196 Password: Talpwnz
-All Clan Projects and Programs are on hold for the duration of the GJW.
DB News
-The LM has posted the link to the now-finished Star Wars Gaming News website, which can be found here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/lm/gamingnews/. This page contains information on all the current and upcoming star wars games and links to other useful information.
-Jep'man Farstrider (formerly known as Cyris), the Magistrate to the Herald, is offering to make custom lightsabers (for those ranked Warlord/Prelate/Archpriest or above) and custom character portraits for anyone who would like them. -The LM is waiting for GM approval and then will announce the new Baron of the DBPA (Brotherhood group of Star Wars Galaxies players), this should occur soon.
-The Krath Monthly Topics (KMTs) for August are How I single-handedly saved the DB and no one believed me, and Red, see the KHPs weekly report for more information. There is also an Epic Competition going on, you can find details about that here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competitions.asp?ID=459. While these are good writing exercises that I like to see our members complete, I STRESS that GJW events should take precedence over these!
