It has been a while since my last report but with summer and all I'm sure you understand. The reason why I'm mailing you all directly is that god-know-why my ISP has been banned from Jac's hosting company and that means I have no access to any db.com related mail (no mailing list or anything) and I can only recive mails trought them but can't sent.

It has been a quite busy week in CEK and the we of the Kunar Council have had our hands full setting things for the future of our Clan.

For some reasons I've had no choice but to remove SWM Talon from his position of QUA of Ziost and to replace him with KP Erryc Lassiter. I know, some of you wil say "WTH ?? A Krath as Sith QUA ?? Well, that may need to be explained a bit. First of all House Ziost has not been a Single Order House for quite some time now and member of all orders can join this House.

Secondly, the order now do exist only for RPG and interpretation reasons rather then platforms restriction as infact some Kraths kicked me very badly as JA in Chapter 3 even thought I've been an Obelisk QUA for more then a year heh

I think, thought, that the Lord Chamberlain explained it much better in his last report so for the sake of understanding I'll past it here :

A brief note about Orders

Since it seems that many members(and apparently some leaders) are still unaware, Order Platforms restrictions have been removed. A member can be a Sith and write, or an Obelisk and fly... Or any combination of activities. We are not restricting what activities a member can participate in based on their Order. At the moment, and for some time in the past, Orders have been fundamentally different in roleplaying, but completely unrestricted in gaming. People should choose their order based as much off of the Order concepts as much as off the activities that Order is known to engage in.

So, essentially, there's not much of a reason for Cross-Order recruiting any longer. If a House receives a new Sith recruit who wishes to mostly play JA, there's no real reason that the member should be urged to change Orders. Obviously, there are instances where someone may wish to change Orders for one reason or another, but right now, members do not need to change Orders in order to play a game that was previously exclusive to a different Order.

Just to be completely clear... While the majority of Sith may fly, you can be a Sith and not own any games at all. You could simply like the Sith Roleplay, and that's fine. The Brotherhood is no longer restricting activities by Order.

I hope that explain the order thing.

Finally, still talking of Erryc here, for those that don't know him as I do, he's an AWESOME pilot and a former member of the TIE Corp as well former AED of House Byss and those along with other reasons made him the best person to reform House Ziost and make his as active as it should have been. Congratulation.

This week also has seen the elevation of two of our leaders, Jonaleth and Khalin.

Our trully PCON, Khalin Kunar has been elevated to Obelisk Exarch while our Jon is the second member in our Clan history to join the ranks of the elder been promoted to the rank of DARK ADEPT !! Huge congratulation to both of you !!!

Now, talking of business. I'm pleased with the response Chapter 3 of the Great Jedi War (simply GJW for the new guys) has recived from most members and I'm sure we placed well. Now if we want to regain the distance we have from the other clan due to our absence in chapter 2 I have to ask even more efforts from you all. As soon Chapte 4 will be released, the QUAs or myself will release more dettails about what to do to help our Clan to shine above the other. Keep up the good work folks !

Since it has been pointed our to me by some members I think this is the right place to explain one thing about communication. IRC is surelly a wonderfull communication tool but keep in mind that most of us live in different time zone and for that reason is hard to catch up with everyone. Mail are still the most reliable and faster way for communication and if you need me, for minor or majos issue or for any other reason, just drop me and Khalin a mail and one of us will reply you as soon as we get it. Most of you know that my reply time is usually few hours so anything that need my attention if more then welcome in my inbox ( I keep all the mails since I joined the DB 5 years ago, no kidding).
