Herald Report

It's Lollipop Time...

...with you! Well well well... looks like a good old fashioned HRLD REPORT! First the `fishal biznis.

GOA REQUESTS MUST BE COMPLETE.

I have had so many partials, wrong, or just plain... confusing... notes about them recently. I know I know, there's no GoA Guide, but there's a good reason. Maybe I'll share... later.

I Like To Daydream

Here's an update of sorts on the CHARACTER of Kaine Mandaala... not that anyone other than me is writing fiction including Kaine Mandaala. After creating a sizeable army, battle droid factory (palace) on Ralltiir was discovered by Korath Lorren, Jedi Knight. Kaine relocated the entire operation to Mimban, and plans to launch an assault on Korath and the Jedi Academy.

What's That?

Oh yeah I am working on a few things in the background... like a new HRLD site is in the works. Slowly but surely it's taking shape and concentrates more on RPG/fiction info (as well as the useful DJB stuff).

I Wish You Were My Home

In the sparkling world of HRLD:RL, I bought myself a nice 'present' though there's a bit of backstory to it. My wife liked her engagment ring, but wanted something to match her wedding band. Seeing as how the band was platinum and quite a unique setting, we had to have one custom made to match with some minor adjustments (like a 0.67ct diamond as the center stone)... blah blah blah... It cost about $2200 for her to get a new ring.

Anyway as a kind of a "putting up with that crap" gift I bought myself Glamdring. For those not in the 'know' Glamdring is the sword that Gandalf used in the Lord Of The Rings series. It's an official copy of the one used in the films, made by United Cutlery (blue handle, 2nd from left), and byfar one of the coolest things I've ever purchased. It retails for $350 but I paid $150 thanks to some long-term comparitive shopping. Given how much we paid for her ring I should be able to get like 5 of the swords in the series at the very least... but we'll see.

This week they're song titles... except the first one, which is the first line in a song. All by the same guy. Maybe I'll be more creative next time.
