There's been some changes in this past week, as well as plans for more changes. One change so far hasn't be made public yet, but I'll explain it here. The other has been the change of how Gaming Nights work, which affects the Order, as well as the Brotherhood as a whole. I'm hoping that, as we change and progress more, people will begin to come out of their shell a little, and really allow this Order to take off. No matter what my plans are, I need you to help me bring progress, and I need you to be a part of this. The Sith Order is yours; I just happen to be the guy they put up here to speak for you, to fight for you, and to serve for you. I'm not your boss, I'm your servant. Please, make use of me.

As far as the Gaming Nights, you've all probably seen the news post I made regarding them. Tuesdays and Thursdays are now the weekly Gaming Nights, with the ICTE still on Saturdays, and bi-weekly (every other week) tournaments on alternating Sundays. The Gaming Nights are a chance to earn CFs, as well as a Dark Cross for everyone who nets five wins, and a Star of Antei for everyone who earns fifteen wins. Some have said this may be unfair, that we shouldn't award extra for winning, but I think it rewards extra for effort. It takes a lot to win, even in games, and it shows practice, effort, dedication, and most of all, I hope it shows that you're trying to have fun.

The other change that may not have been so noticable, is that the Serpenti are being eliminated as the "Sith Order elite." I wasn't happy with the way the Serpenti were set up, and decided to take it all back to the drawing board. So, here's what I decided upon, taking into account suggestions and input from many of the current Serpenti, as well. The Serpenti are now a fictional cult, made up of powerful Force-sensitives, who worship Serpentis. They have a Temple on Arx, and are a lot like a spiritual "sister group" to the Sith. The Serpenti will be used purely for fictional purposes, but anyone who wishes to put involvement with them in their background may do so. I'll be releasing more about their fictional nature as time goes on.

The new "Order elite" are a body of persons collectively known as the "Sith'Aran," which is meant to be plural for the word "Sith'Ari." Those of you who have played Knights of the Old Republic may recognize this word. It was taken from there, and means "Perfect One," or "Perfect Being." The Sith'Aran are the "Perfect Ones" who embody everything that the Sith Order is to be, and should be. They will hold honored status among the Order, and will have fictional possibilities opened up unto them. This honor is open to anyone who exemplifies the values of the Order, but is also an honor that can be revoked. To be the Order elite, you must stay in tune with the Order, and continue to practice the morals, and values that it embodies, both in fiction, as well as in real practice among the Brotherhood. Make sure you are providing a good example for the future of the Sith. Current members of the Sith'Aran are former SHWs Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor, Xanos Zorrixor-Sadow, Rekio Corsair-Tarentae, Doni Tzu, Demosthenes JediShaFT, and Lenzar Demonis Entar.

I would like to take a moment and collectively recognize the new generation of Sith, those who are moving beyond the social stigmatism placed on the Order. Those of you who are joining because of the fictional ideals, and join to play any of the games, or write, or just be part of the group, I recognize your efforts, and salute them. Always know, if you need any assistance, I am here to provide that. I am here to fill the role of mentor, guide, friend and benefactor. I am here to watch your progression, to reward your efforts, and to help you continue to have fun and success here in the Brotherhood. I applaud your efforts, and I hope you'll keep them up.

I've got a number of people willing to help make battles, as I've said before. One of my "to-do's" this week is to get in touch with all of them, let them know what I'm hoping to start on, as far as battle storylines, and hopefully, we can get some battles put out. The Compendium itself is waiting for some recoding, since it's not created to the current specifications of the Brotherhood database. I believe it's been put on hold until the completion of the Rebirth site, but if we can get it up before then, we'll try to, and we'll let you know where it is.

I'd like to press this a little more, since I know we have a lot of talented writers among the Sith. Anyone interested in taking part in a Sith run-on, or in an inter-Order run-on between all three Orders, email me, we'll turn over some story ideas, and then we'll work with Lannie on starting it up, and having some fun with it. I know a lot of Clans are currently running their own competitions, or preparing to, so I don't want to do anything that will disrupt that. But if you want to be a part of this, email, as always, at
[Log in to view e-mail addresses].

     Competitions>

As I mentioned, Gaming Nights are now reorganized, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesday Nights are meant to be solo Gaming Nights, with Thursdays being meant for Team Games. Typically, what I would like to see is any of the JK-series, or any of the LA flight sims on Tuesday, with the JK-series, Allegiance and Battlefront on Thursdays. If this doesn't look like a possibility, I'll change it up, but I believe we have enough players, and enough interest, to do this. Just remember, playing in these Gaming Nights qualifies you for the bi-weekly Tournaments, which can net you personal possessions, as well as possible Clan possessions. Leaders, get out there and game, and make sure you get your Clans out there and game. There really is a lot of possibilities up for grabs, which will be announced as soon as I have the point system done with, and approval from Jac on it.

There is also the ICTE today, and every Saturday, in #outerrim as always (on the Undernet). Lannie has her KMTs each month, which is a good point of competition. In addition, I have also put out a small competition, meant to incite participation, and maybe a little Order rivalry. "Beat the Krath," which means I want to see Sith and Obelisk submitting to Lannie's Monthly Topics. Submit to the topics, and if you place in the Top Three, you'll get a Dark Cross. Also, if we make a sweep, and the Top Three are all Sith and/or Obelisk, you'll all get a Star of Antei. I will offer similar competitions for Krath and Obelisk to stomp the Sith, or Sith and Krath to stomp the Obelisk, so just be patient, and above all, have fun with it.

     Miscellaneous>

As far as miscellaneous, the one thing that comes to mind is, Donitz reminded me the other day that we need to follow through on a couple of projects that we've been working on. The delays have been my fault, and I apologize. But Donitz is working on the Wargame for the Brotherhood, and he told me last night that, after a conversation with Jac, he has a better idea on a few things, and we should be able to finish this up soon. I think it'll be a good apportunity, and a lot of fun. I appreciate Donitz for his hard work on this, and his ability to put up with my ass. He's a good man, has a lot of good ideas, and I think the Sith Order will benefit from him. We also want to start putting out Battleplan ideas, similar to the kind Goat put out during the Third Sith War, but much more developed, and hopefully, much more fun.

     Conclusion>

In conclusion, I'd just like to mention a few things. We have a lot of changes slated, or in the process of being planned, but they do take time. I don't want to have these changes, or additions take forever, so we're trying to get on them, stay on them, and produce them as soon as realistically possible. We want the Order to have fun, meaning, the Dark Council, and all the Leadership of the Brotherhood, want the Sith to continue to be a valued part of this Club, because every single, last one of you is important. I've worked with Shaithis and Demos to try and make Gaming Nights better, and I'm going to look into every aspect of my responsibility, and if it needs changing, I'm going to change it for you. All of this is for you, the Sith, and for the Brotherhood as a whole. But, for this to work, we need you, so make sure you become a part of this, and stay a part of this. If you need anything, let me know. If you're mad at me, fire off an email, and unload. I'll try to work on improving, and if I can, I'd like an opportunity to satisfy your concerns, and earn you as a friend.

I think this is a good time to be in the Brotherhood, and an excellent time to be a part of the Sith. If you haven't yet figured out what this is all about, email me. I'll answer questions, I'll help you find your own path, and I'll do what I can to make you see what I see this Club to be. I see something pretty wonderful, so hopefully, I can paint a picture of it that's perfect for you.

See you at the ICTE today!
