[ State of the Order> I see life in this Order; do you?

The Gaming Nights and Tournaments have been extremely successful, and it's coming from a good mix of people, from each of the Orders. I'm happy to see this going so well. I've also been in touch with some of our newer members, who seem excited to be getting into the DB, and I'm happy for that, too. I've also asked one of my Magistrates, Syn Kaek, to get in touch with the Order; I'd ask all of you to respond to that. We want to have a good idea about who all is around, who all wants to get into the active spotlight. I want to try and get everyone up through the ranks to whichever height you aspire to. If you want to try and be the next Sith Dark Jedi Master, let's get working on it. If you want to make it to your Knighthood, I want to help you get there. If you just want your next Dark Cross, hey, I can help with that, too.

Beyond this, I'm going to be getting in touch with ALL the House and Clan Summits. The reason? I think every House has something to do with the Sith, even if it's only an example. I think every House leadership provides an example, and can be a resource to the new generation of the Order. Please, when I get in touch with you, help me out, and let's make sure that the membership gets what it needs, and what it wants. Because, in the end, the only reason leadership exists, is to serve the people.

The Sith Order recognizes...> I don't know if we've ever recognized this man for all he did for the Order, and for all he did for the Brotherhood. I know he's been recognized for his work in many ways, but he started on the Dark Council in the position I hold, and that puts me in a great deal of awe. This man cares for the brotherhood, and this man has the best wishes of each member in his heart. He accomplished some amazing feats in his time as Sith High Warrior, and was one of the longest-standing, most praised Grand Masters ever. At this time, I recognize Lord Firefox, and thank him for everything he has done. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize him before the Brotherhood, and announce that Firefox is a paragon of the Order, and officially is welcomed into the Sith'Ari, the Perfect Ones of the Order.

I think you, Firefox, the Order thanks you, and you should be receiving a personal letter regarding this shortly.

Sith Site/Battle Compendium> After a response from one or two of the people who replied to Kaek's email, there is the possibility that we might have someone else to help us with the Site/Battle Compendium Project. More info will be released as I have more, obviously. But, the good news is, it might also contain more than flying missions. I need to talk it over with Jac and Mav, but as soon as the editing tools for Battlefront come out, there could be a big reward in sight for somebody learning to tweak that game. Stay tuned!

Sith in Fiction> As you may remember, I talked about the "types" of Sith in my last report; if you didn't get to see it, check it
here. I'd like people to take themselves into account with a more "fiction-minded" approach. The Sith are not pilots, unless they want to be. The Sith are not limited, because I will not allow them to be. We are just as talented, possessing as broad a range as any of the Orders, because the DB is not about limitations, it's about expectations--expectations of fun, friendship, and enjoying the reality we create for ourselves. Remember to keep the "dream" of this all in your mind when you do things. You can game, but there's much, much more that the Brotherhood has to offer, and the Sith can take advantage of it, too. I'd love to see everybody competing with the krath in Lannie's KMTs; yes, they can be fun, and I expect them to be fun, because Lannie is an exceptional individual, and she has a great staff.

In addition, the Sith have a LOT to work with, fictionally. I've talked with Trev, about the history of the Brotherhood, and he's been working on a lot. We have a lot of potential, because there are untold millenia in the history of the Sith, as well as the Brotherhood, and I want to work on this. As I've stated before, I'm putting out a creation comp, where you all get to make your own Sith Lords. Create a being, so vile, so powerful, that he could only be called the Fifth Dark Lord of the Sith. Or the Second. Or, if you take it a bit further, who was the first Dark Jedi to conquer, and enslave the Sith race? Who was the foul individual who first crafted the title for himself, Dark Lord of the Sith? This is up to you, and you can find more information in my reports. Check this one here.

Competitions> As always, Tuesday and Thursday Nights are the Gaming Events. Tuesday is for solo gaming, and Thursday is for team events. However, it's still kind of hard to find enough people for teams, and if you can't find team games, solo games will still count, and have been counting. I don't want anyone losing out for simple reasons, so don't worry about it. But the Gaming Nights have been very successful, and I want to encourage everyone to come out. Even playing in just one of the events qualifies you for the bi-weekly Sunday Tournaments, and those have been getting good. Summits, encourage your people to attend. Not only does this score them points, for personal items, but it gets the Clans points, too. Everyone benefits, and we've all been having a lot of fun.

In addition, there's the ICTE on Saturdays, and that counts as a qualifying event, too. The ICTE has been picking back up, so encourage activity there, too. Lannie is also working on the Krath RoS, so Krath, prepare yourselves. Obelisk and Sith, prepare to go to battle alongside your brothers and sisters, because every person counts, and every weapon brings your Houses and Clans closer to victory. Sometime next year, expect another Sith War, as well. And, for those of you who enjoy the ACC, Alaric also have a special event going on in the ACC, the details of which can be found
here. There's a lot to do, a lot open to you, so make sure you get involved. This is, indeed, all for the members. If there's something you'd like to see, make sure you let us know.
Miscellaneous> I've seen the ship list for the Clans to choose from for the rewards of the Great Jedi War. I'd like to see everyone choosing at least one ESSD. Those ships, if nothing else, look cool. I've chosen, for the new flagship of the Sith order, the ESSD Piglet's Revenge, so I'd like every Clan present at the ceremony to officially mark her as worthy for combat. We'll meet in the dining hall, and have cake and cookies; punch will be served as well. :P

Yes, I'm kidding. I've seen the shiplist, and there's a lot of possibilities for the Clans. I hope you all remember the struggles you went through, and prepare for the future. You will have options opened up to you in every competition, and you'll have the chance to earn some great things. In addition, let's make sure we're training the next generation for leadership. Don't worry so much about helping these people learn to fill your shoes; some day, you might want to move onto bigger, and better things, or you might have the opportunity come to you to lead something greater, and one of the next generation WILL have to fill yoru shoes. Let's make sure the people are prepared, and let's make sure no one feels left out. Somebody helped you when you were new, let's pass on the great things we've been given.

Just remember, let's have fun with this, and remember, it's all for fun and games. We're not here to work, we're here to play, we're here to relax, so get with it, and have some fun, dammit. :P

What's with the extremely annoying mouseover effect? :P

Make sure you end your anchor tags the right way ;)

That ESSD joke was not funny :P You had me going for a second... it was like "what the flaming hell has happened to the SHW?" :P

Anyhow... that aside, something else I thought about while reading your request for former Dark Lords again... I think that the Second Dark Lord of the Sith (the first being Lord Darth himself) is meant to be the apprentice of Serpentis. I think that's written into the history of the Sith Order and the history of Serpentis, which I believe was written by Vassan, could be wrong though. From what I remember the basic story is that Serpentis got killed by his over ambitious apprentice who then went after Lord Darth and the Wanderer- both of whom had buggered off somewhere- but stopped when he got to the Sith Empire and thought it would be a nice place to enslave, so set up camp there, and left Lord Darth and the Krath guys to do what they liked wherever they liked.

That's actually not the case, Goat. Trev and I have talked about it, and Darth predates the Sith race. The Dark Lords who are termed "DLOS's" didn't spring up until after the Sith were even a race. Darth, Serpentis, his Apprentice, they all have their places in history, but not among what I'm looking for. ;)

In theory that makes more sense, as it never did seem right that Darth was coined "first Dark Lord" when there wasn't actually any Sith to be Dark Lord of.

Yay - we're great! :o)
