Dark Brethren of Yu

I've been wanting to write a short report for a while now. I just have

a few quick things. You can skip to the end if you don't want to read

the long recommendations.

It's important you know this: I will not be on IRC, MSN, AIM, and I

will not be answering e-mail beginning Wednesday the 24th. I will be

out of town, visiting family until Monday the 29th. While I'm gone

MERLANCE should be able to help out. If he's not around, please feel

free to ask or chat with anyone in #Tarentum on IRC. Usually everyone

is friendly there! :)

First

Welcome ACO Cyrus to Yu Circle!! He's done a wonderful job at being

active, participating in the ICTE, attending the training event,

completing SA cources, and helping his friend ACO Vardar complete a

Test of Endurance. It's quite an impressive show for a new member to

the Brotherhood. Nice work!

Second

Saturday training. Aside from a few small personal emergencies, some

members of Yu Circle managed to show up, including myself, Merlance,

and Cyrus. Future prospective members also showed up, including NOV

Moridin and ACO Vardar. X-Pilot, who is starting his own circle soon,

also attended. I'm not asking anyone to attend this coming Saturday,

since I and a few others won't be able to attend due to holiday

festivities. However, the week after this, I'd like to see a stronger

presence from Yu. More games means more fun and more experience. More

experience means you win more often!

Third

A reminder to all. ALL DAY TUESDAY on IRC in #gmrg we are having a

one-on-one melee. Show up on IRC, play other members in #gmrg, and

earn clusters of firie. On THURSDAY, a similar event takes place.

Instead of just one-on-one matches we'll be doing team matches (2

versus 2, 3 versus 3). I hope you are able to attend!!

Fourth

Last, but not least, we have our competition with non-Yu members.

Third level crescents are available to the top three scoring members.

While on IRc in #Tarentum, try to find members who are not in Yu

Circle (including summits like Rekio, Telona, Donitz, Oberst).

Challenge them to matches in JA and JO and report scores from matches

to me!

The remainder of this e-mail is dedicated to recognizing a select few

who have demonstrated prowess and dedication. Read on if you want to

know how to advance within the Brotherhood. This is proof that you

will be rewarded for your deeds.

RECENT AWARDS

Every so often, I get the chance to recognize those members of Yu

Circle who have demonstrated superior activity and dedication to our

circle and House Tridens as a whole. They are evidence that if you

work hard, you will receive reward. You don't need to read all of

these, but you can get the idea of what you need to do to achieve

glory and the respect of your peers.

Congratulations to the following:

JH SHIMAS: Steel Cross

Jedi Hunter Shimas – Since your arrival in House Tridens, you have

found a

good balance between gaming and the non-gaming aspects of House

membership. In the last month, you've played over 20 matches between

various people in the ICTE, Tuesday/Thursday Gaming days, and Sunday

tournament. More importantly, you have suggested Yu Circle's first

competition. The details of this competition can be viewed here:

Furthermore, you wrote a good fictional introduction to the

competition,

and have been very supportive in working out the exact award system we

plan to use when it ends in early December. As you aspire toward

Knighthood, I hope that you will try to focus your fiction skills in

expanding the character and identity of the Yu Circle while at the same

time continuing your gaming participation in JO and JA. You are a

valued

member of House Tridens and I look forward to the future initiatives

you

will take to advance our membership to even higher levels. -- Dark Side

JH MERLANCE: Steel Cross

Jedi Hunter Merlance, you have set a standard of activity that none

within

Clan Tarentum have managed to surpass. Indeed, on occasion, you have

managed to out-participate most of the Brotherhood of the Dark Jedi in

such events as the ICTE or Tuesday/Thursday gaming days. Since your

elevation to Jedi Hunter, you have managed to play over 80 matches

against

numerous people within the Brotherhood and in other allied clubs,

spanning

JO, JA, and XWA in the ICTE, T/R Gaming Days, and Sunday Tournaments.

In

XWA you have asserted dominance, while in JO and JA you aspire to one

day

beat those who subjugate you now...if only they had T/Is instead of

lightsabers... With your Master, you have dominated most forms of

multi-player competition within the entire Brotherhood, and have so

honored both Yu Circle, House Tridens, and Clan Tarentum as a whole.

Further, you have commented on the new competition beginning in Yu

Circle

and have assisted me by evaluating the initial Yu Circle documents. In

the

future, your role in the leadership of Yu Circle will become more

important, and I hope that you will find a good balance between gaming

and

ascending as a leader of House Tridens. -- Dark Side Adept Pyralis

GRD NIT`CHU TETSUO: Star of Antei

Guardian Nit`Chu Tetsuo. Your activity in JO and JA gaming has been

quite

enviable during this past week. Since the recommendation for your

promotion to Guardian was submitted, you have played over 30 matches in

JO

and JA, a great deal of these spanning this past Tuesday's and

Thursday's

gaming nights. No doubt if these had been separate competitions, you

would

probably have won both of them through your participation alone, not to

mention the skill you showed. Further, you have been constantly active

on

IRC and have showed very good sportsmanship on IRC and in the games

I've

ACO CYRUS: Dark Cross

In my leave, Novice Cyrus has undertook the responsibility of assessing

former APP Vardar a Test of Endurance. At the time he did me a great

favor, and it is no small task play a game to 25 total kills,

especially

for a member so new to the Brotherhood. It is an enviable

accomplishment.

RECENT PROMOTION

I'd also like to give special mention to recently promoted Nit`Chu

Tetsuo. Recently he has greatly expanded his activity, and there was

no doubting that he had ascended to greater powers within the

Brotherhood. He is an example to all that if you have a lot of fun,

and work hard for Yu Circle and House Tridens that you will gain

elevations like this one:

Rise, Protector Nit`Chu Tetsuo –

For your expert commitment to gaming in both Jedi Outcast and Jedi

Academy, and for having played over twenty-five matches in multiplayer

events in no more than two weeks, you have no doubt impressed your

First Lord.

You have performed admirably since your arrival in House Tridens,

Nit`Chu. You have taken the initiative to suggest reforms to the very

infrastructure of the Brotherhood and have supported your First Lord

in many of the endeavors leading up to the formation of Yu Circle.

Further, you've been a very good sport while playing JO and JA. This

is a very honorable trait and I hope you will continue it. Since

becoming one with Tarentum and now as you join me as one of my

warriors in Yu Circle, you have honored those around you with your

presence, and I can say with great pride that Nit`Chu Tetsuo is a

member of my circle. Therefore, it is with the power vested in me as

an Elder of the Brotherhood that I bestow upon you the rank of

Guardian.

Nit`Chu Tetsuo, Guardian of Yu, I hope that our paths shall continue

to cross, and that I may help to further oversee your ascendancy

toward greater powers as a vassal of Clan Tarentum. May darkness guide

you.
