First of all, Happy New Year.

This week, I have had significant computer problems, but I think they have finally been resolved. I haven't been on IRC much as a result of this, and I haven't been able to do any gaming. Until Sunday, I likely wont be doing any gaming, as I have to go do some dog sitting at someone else's house, and I don't know what kind of computer that person has. I should be able to at least be on IRC a reasonable amount, but I can't say until I get there.

Mad props to smoke20 for taking care of the circle last week while I was out of town, and the subsequent beginnings of computer problems. So, "yay smoke". I'm sure you will make a fine DJK when your master returns to administer your trials. Not as great as me, of course :p

Individual Activity

Smoke20/Ma-ar Tyrius Ga-Tir - Lets see, smoke administered Clan Trivia, and got a Legion of the Scholar for doing so. He played in 15 of the 18 games played at the ICTE on New Years Day, he took good care of the circle in my absence. He also managed to pass the Krath Core exam, and took home 7CF's from the ICTE. He also got a crescent with a sapphire star for 2nd place in the Yu vs Tarentum competition.

Vardar played some JA, I think, and has been on IRC. I haven't been on IRC, so I cant confirm this.

Nit'Chu came back after being ill for a bit over a week, and has earned a Legion of the Scholar for participating in the Trivia, getting 2nd place. He has also spent some time on IRC.

I don't think I've seen Yemmer on lately, but I'm sure she is around.

I haven't seen Shimas around, either, but I haven't been on IRC either.

Pyralis ran the ICTE on Saturday, he compiled the scores for the Tarentum Clan Comp, and I think he has gone on vacation to New York. He will be back soon, I wager, since his school starts in two weeks.

I have had a slow week. I haven't done any gaming, and have had a minimal IRC presence. I finally got a Crescent with an Amethyst Star for the Yu vs tarentum comp, and one for a tie with Frosty for first place in the Tarentum Clan Comp. I also posted in the clan comp Run-on.

Roster stands at 7 members, but I intend to find a replacement for he-who-must-not-be-named shortly.

Yu Challenges: Viper Brigade on Sunday, January 8th. However, Wolvie, the battle team leader, showed extreme cowardice in the face of Yu, so it is very likely we will win by default. Anyone on Yu who shows up Sunday afternoon will be rewarded (I think, ask smoke20 for the details on this).

I had challenged Battle Team Night Raptors of CNS, but I haven't seen Jasru online to coordinate it with him; it was supposed to be for Saturday, after the meeting but before the ICTE, so it may or may not be on.

Tarentum news: The Tarentum competition, Sword and Trident, is still underway. Report any XwA/XvT/TIE Pilot files to Welshman, at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and the run-on is stilling going at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/message_board/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2614 and I don't think you need to reserve a spot to post anymore. All you have to write is 12 lines of text over 3 paragraphs. Thats easy. And you end up being rewarded for it in the end.

The flying missions are very easy, they all take about 3 minutes or less to complete. If you are able to do all three, that will be great.

Conclusion: So, stay tuned Yu. There will be a Yu fiction event coming up shortly, so mail me if you are interested in that. Trust me, it won't have to be too much work, and it will help the circle establish itself a place in Clan Tarentum.
