[ <font color="#FFD700"> State of the Order</font>> <font color="#FFFAFA"> I hope you'll all forgive me.

As of late, I've been less-than-present, and much of it, I have to attribute to school, and some other issues I've had to deal with. Needless to say, I haven't been around as much as I generally am, and I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. I hope things haven't been too rough, and I'm hoping that things will continue to be amazing for all of us in this new year. With that said, I'd like to talk about some of the things I'm wanting to accomplish.

First and foremost, I'm looking to re-write/reveal the history of the Order, and as much of the surrounding material as it pertains to us. At this point, I'm not verifying everything (at least until after the Sith Lords Reborn comp is over), but this can include the material from Knights of the Old Republic, and is likely to contain much of the happenings we've all seen from the comics, and other source material, as well. I'm hoping that it'll be interesting, useful, and something we can all enjoy.

In addition, I'm looking to revamp the Sith Order courses in the Shadow Academy. In my opinion, it's too based around the ideal of Sith being pilots, and we all know, this is no longer what the Order is. While it had been successful for the Sith, in past years, to embrace these ideas, quite frankly, it's no longer an Order-clone of the TIE Corps, nor should it be. As such, I believe it necessary to restructure thinking about this in fiction, and in the halls of our Academy. So, in the future, I'm wanting to make the CORE exam more geared towards what the Sith history will encompass, in addition to some other material. We've also talked about the Battle Compendium, and though a website for said purpose is likely off for a while (due to Rebirth), Rekio is looking into options of putting the missions up somewhere, to display links on a simple HTML page, so everyone can enjoy them. In going along with that, he's also going to be needing mission testers (who will be rewarded), and I will be looking to finally reward those people who made the missions back during Goat's last Sith War.

Also, I need to get a hold of Donitz, but he's been working on developing a Wargame for the Brotherhood. Donitz has a tremendous amount of experience with this type of activity, and we're all hoping this will be enjoyed, and become a useful addition to competitions. In addition, we also want to implement Battleplan events, similar to the one Goat implemented, but with some changes to make it more interesting, a bit more detailed, and geared towards enticing people to be creative, and think up some useful strategies.

And, as always, I'd like to increase the turn-out for the Gaming Nights, and for the Tournaments. They've been really successful so far, and I think you're all enjoying them, but I'd like to see more of the Clans, and especially more of the members, themselves, come out and earn some medals and Tournament Points. If you have any wishes, or stuff you'd like to see, let me know. I like to think I'm approachable, and if I seem odd, or you're not sure how to initiate some conversation, just drop me a line, and say "What's up, BF?" I'm here to serve everybody, and that includes all of the Orders. Let me know what I can do for you.

If you want to help out testing, email </font></p></a><a href="mailto:shw@darkjedibrotherhood.com">myself</a> and <a href="mailto:RekioC@gmail.com">Rekio</a>, and we'll get you rolling on stuff we can use you for. And yes, anyone who helps out will be rewarded. I always like to make sure people feel appreciated for their efforts.

<a name="#sific"><p align="Left"><font color="#FFD700"> Sith in Fiction</font>> <font color="#FFFAFA"> As I've said before, the "Sith Lords Reborn" is your chance to have your creativity influence the history of the Sith Order. And yes, this competition is open to everyone. We all know that Marka Ragnos was the Ninth Dark Lord of the Sith, and that others came before him, but who were they? Entries were to be accepted up until the 31st, at 11:59 PM EST, but I just decided, with the Krath Rite of Supremacy going on, I'm going to extend that. I'm extending the Competition until the end of February, so that should still give you some time to submit something. Tell me who those lost Dark Lords were; What did they look like? When did they reign? How did they affect the Sith Empire? Whatever you choose to write, that's all you need to submit. Feel free to add graphics, as well. In addition to the Crescents for this competition, I'm also offering 100 Tournament points to the most-represented Clan in this Comp. Also, the First Place winner of this Competition is going to have 50 Tournament Points added to their score. Not too bad, right?

<a name="#comps"><p align="Left"><font color="#FFD700"> Competitions</font>> <font color="#FFFAFA"> As mentioned before, and as I hope everyone already knows by now, Weekly Gaming Nights are every Tuesday and Thursday in #gmrg, with the ICTE in #outerrim every Saturday. In addition, whomever qualifies each two week period (by playing in any of the regular Gaming Events on Tuesday, Thursday, or the ICTE) will be invited to play in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament. You'll earn points for yourself, points for your Clan, and those can be used to purchase good and vehicles. Take the opportunity to get out and game with everybody. Also, the "Sith Lords Reborn" is going on (and extended time-wise). And, as everyone knows, the Krath Rite of Supremacy is on. There's a great amount of things to do, and opportunities to gain much for yourselves, and your Clans.

Sometimes, we press you for activity, but just remember, we only want to offer you something to do for relaxation, and for enjoyment. The Dark Council isn't full of evil assholes, and we're only going to do what people accept. If you don't like something, email us, let us know what you're thinking, and offer us some ideas of things that might make it easier on you, and give you a better time. Leaders, especially House and Clan leaders, we really need your support in this, too. We need you to keep your members involved with all of the Brotherhood, and we need your help in understanding their needs, their goals, and their situations. We can only act upon what we know, and if you don't let us see what needs to be done, you're going to hate us, and we're going to hate ourselves, too. Make sure you stay involved, and let's make sure this is the Club we all want it to be.

High Warrior of the Sith </font> </p> ]()

This is something that has been bothering me for a while now.

Why are you encouraging your Sith to interfere with the Krath Rite of Supremacy? It is, ultimately, a Krath matter. If the competition is a free-for-all, then why call it Krath, or have Orders?

Granted, I understand that the "walls" between Orders have come down a lot from the old days, but are they coming down too far? How much of a difference is left between me and a Sith beyond purple or red?

in terms of roleplaying, Orders still exist. a Sith character is quite a lot different from a Krath, in my opinion...

So whats wrong with roleplaying a Krath event as a Krath event?

Well, for starters, I don't see it as "interfering with a Krath event." As far as I was told, anyone and everyone are allowed to compete in the RoS. Yes, there's nothing wrong with having Order-only comps, in my mind, but unless I'm told that is the case, I'm going to encourage everyone to participate.

Secondly, I assume that Krath and Obelisk read my reports, just as much as Sith do, and I try to emphasize Lannie's comps just as much as my own, because I know she's put alot of effort into it, and though not everyone might be doing this, I like to do what I can to press other peoples' competitions. I think it's the least I can do.
