buahahah, I just compared myself to the Jesus in that title. buahahah. I'm 
such a funny funny guy.  



So -- this has been a bit better of a week. I didn't have as much to do at 
school and I finally got some catch up work done. In fact, I have most of my 
homework done all the way up to Wednesday. That's what can happen when Jac 
doesn't go on some damn trip over the weekend. Of course though, I just got 
another paper assigned that is due in two weeks. I might as well just take 
my &quot;Jac-bought-the-DVD-but-didn't-watch-it-yet&quot; movie collection out the 
window.  



I did have good news this week: I am ranked 26 out of 177 people in my law 
school class. That's the top 14.68%. But who's counting?  



Seriously, that will be good in helping me to get a job this summer. Jaccy 
needs a job to pay for nice, expensive honeymoon. :)  



Oh what else it there....celebrated V-day with the fiancee last night. Good 
times.  



I'm feeling pretty good these days. I've kept my workout/diet regiment going 
for 6 weeks now and I can see a difference. I forgot what a natural drug 
working out was. Screw caffeine.

There are two jobs that I despise as a Grand Master. The first is firing 
people, but even worse than that is hiring someone. When I fire someone from 
a DC job or a Clan job, normally they are already gone anyway. They've been 
inactive or are on the way out the door. It's hard to break it to them when 
they still have a passion for the job, but it could be worse.  



But -- hiring people is even worse. Especially when it is a hard choice 
among a bunch of applicants. I had considerable trouble with CoG and I know 
MAA is going to be very hard. The problem is that there is such a limited 
number of good leadership spots that open, and I want to give people a 
chance, but sometimes there's just someone who looks a little better. It 
sucks especially for those that repeatedly apply. It's hard not to say yes, 
but there are times when multiple no's are needed.  



My point here isn't to discourage people from applying to make my life 
easier. I like seeing lots of interest in jobs. Instead, the point I wanted 
to get to was this: don't be discouraged. The DB is always growing and 
people are always coming and going. There will eventually be a spot that 
opens for you and your ambitions. Go with the flow, keep trying and 
eventually you'll get there.  



Also -- if you do apply and would like feedback on your application and what 
you can do to write better ones, feel free to ask. Lenzar has taken 
advantage of this already. I'm willing to comment on more.

help me do this immediately in the future.

I announced this at the meeting yesterday, but I'll put it here for those 
that missed. Because I'm lazy tonight, I'm just posting the log.

everyone else likes, and then on the other hand we need someone who will 
work to expand that program within the goals and mind frame that we have

there were a lot of really great ones, one application we read was probably 
the best we've seen in years

some explanations

[13:11] &lt;`Jac&gt; he has been a very good assistant to Demos in the previous 
Guard  

[13:11] &lt;`Jac&gt; Demos had him in on all of our conversations and proposals  

[13:11] &lt;`Jac&gt; Despite being a young member time-in wise, Jasru has 
displayed a great understanding of our club and where he wants to take the 
Guard  

[13:12] &lt;`Jac&gt; He was really the most enthusiastic about the new program, 
and what I like most of all was his demonstration that he was going to be 
active in all gaming areas  

[13:12] &lt;`Jac&gt; He even went out and got copies of the tie games to play :)  

[13:12] &lt;Korras&gt; yay Jasru! :)  

[13:12] &lt;`Jac&gt; I felt that I could work well with Jasru, and I think that 
the DB can benefit from having a good, fresh leader

stay in your clan too  



I will be getting with Jasru to work out our &quot;plan of attack&quot; on 
establishing the guard. We should know more this next week.

I don't know what else there is to say about our KHP. Alanna has been a rock 
as KHP -- she is strong and steady. She always has things done when asked, 
she always has the highest quality work and is always asking to help with 
more. I wish we could have ten clones of Alanna to assist the DB. If 
anything, we can all learn lessons from her in how to be a great leader.

From last week:



So if you haven't seen our new flagship in the DV, go check it out. It's 
sweet as can be. Spears did an amazing job in designing it. I am very happy 
with what he came up with.  



Now, for the next DV, I want to get a name for the ship. As is custom with 
tradition, the name of the first ship in a line of capital ships is the 
actual designation of the Ship. So if ee call it the Billy Class Destroyer, 
the name would be Billy. Get it?  



So what I want are suggestions for names -- You can post them

See, he's a disillusioned Jedi, who is against the New Republic and the Jedi Order under Luke Skywalker, so he is temporarily siding with us in order to destroy those false followers of the Jedi way, so he can rise up and take their place and war with us proper jedi like and stuff... and yeah... oh and I control his mind :P
