QUA Report 10/3/05

Dark Greetings.

First off I would like to apologise for this report being a day late, it appeared I had a few tests to study for by today that the teacher forgot to tell us about so my usually quiet Wednesday was spent drowning in Biology. Very nice :P

Anyway big congratulations need to go to a few people this week.

Frosty who got a staggering 46 Cluster’s of Fires over the course of the week.

Dox who got a significant 16 Cluster’s of Fires.

Luke Alexander Vandross who passed numerous Shadow Academy tests.

Theorem Elohim Arcanis for also passing a few SA tests.

So good work guys and keep it up.

That however sadly brings me to my next point. Activity in Gladius is not to the level it should be, whilst I don’t expect everyone to go out every week and rack up 40+ CFs it would be brilliant if you could at least get one or two or failing that submit to one of the many competitions that are run by other members of the DB (if you could CC your submissions to me and Frosty). Pretty soon we will be beginning a house comp and I’m just finishing writing a few possible story lines for what the comp could be about however as so far none of you have gotten back to me with any specific events you would/would not like to see in the comp I feel its going to be the bog standard events.

Next week will see the implementation of the House Champion challenge. The roster for the thing has been updated and I’m just waiting for a fresh week to start so we can all get a clean start. Each league will last a month and the winner at the end of the month gets to claim the title House Champion and thus claim unparalleled bragging rights :)

In an attempt to get some more activity I sent a email out earlier asking for some interest in setting up a new circle and have gotten some replies which I’m grateful for, were two shy however for the minimum numbers needed for a circle so if your interested mail me and we’ll get busy on making a new circle.

And lastly Frosty and I have decided to start a round of AWOL checks. With these checks I believe a “three strikes and your out” philosophy is best, it would at the very least ensure we don’t get rid of people who have legitimate reasons to not be in touch or active. While I realise that real life does come first, and I would never suggest otherwise, it would from the perspective of me and the house summits be brilliant to know who is active and who is not. So if you can please reply to the emails Frosty has just sent out or to the email I sent out last week (Jedi Hunters and above email Frosty and Guardians and below email me). Those of you who have already replied to me need not do so again as I have noted your replies in my word document of not AWOLiness. :P

Anyway that’s all I can think of for the moment so I’ll leave you be for a few days : )
