In days long removed to memory, Sith once harnessed such powers born of magic and sorcery, as to create flames from their very will, powered by the Force. Their spells manipulated the flesh of their minions, and tormented the bodies of their enemies. The pure, sadistic torment forced by the Sith upon prisoners broke their spirits, and made them near-mindless automatons, who went about their duties cleaning the refuse from the mighty castles and private abodes of those beings who destroyed their souls in the first place. Rumors are sometimes spread of great machanical monstrosities, which also bear partial forms of flesh, that were created by truly sadistic Sith Sorcerers, who would mold victims to droid bodies, crafting such an inhuman creature, most minds cannot comprehend it.
This is your legacy. This is the destiny that await all Sith, young and old alike. The rebirth of our Order, and the discovery of more of the ancient texts, and the histories that accompany them, have provided vital links to the restitution of the old ways. The sorceries of our forefathers await us, needing only for chosen members of our Order to come forth, and unlock the secrets.

This week, I'd like to make noise about a couple people. First, Kir is awesome, and got Dark Side Adept. Taldryan has been extremely vocal about the abilities of her Consul, and Kir has been recognized for his efforts, and the success of the Clan. I'd also like to note the work of Gryffon, who has been trying to make a fuss about Allegiance, in addition to Khobai and Cannabisia, who have been more than vocal about people getting into it. Khobai in particular has done an awesome job, and has created an Allegiance primer, to help people get in on the game. Clan Summits, especially with my earlier statements, you might want to utilize this, and get in on the Allegiance action. I make this promise, anyone who is not ready with their Clans to be a part of Allegiance is sorely losing out. It's a good game, and there's many people who can help you get up to speed on this.

<> <font color="#FFD700"> Sith in Fiction</font>> <font color="#FFFAFA">
The Greatest Warrior of All Times! If you haven't heard about this, it's ok, it's relatively new. For full competition details, check the link to the comp approval form for it, but this is it in basic. Each month, I'm picking someone in the Brotherhood to be the focus of fun and farce. For the month of March, it's Mav. He is the Greatest Warrior of All Times! Or, so it would seem. Write up a story, using farce, comedy, slapstick, whatever. The point is, make Mav laugh. Each month's warrior is the one who will be grading submissions, but they are to be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and then, I'll zip them, send them to Mav, and let him grade them. Each warrior gets a Dark Cross for being a good sport, and Crescents are going to the winners of each month. This comp will be going on for a while, so get into it, and have some fun.

<> <font color="#FFD700"> Competitions</font>> <font color="#FFFAFA">
As always, Tuesdays and Thursdays are MP nights in #gmrg, with Tuesday having preference on 1vs.1, Thursdays having preference of team matches. I'd like to see more people shake things up, and do more than just saber duel. I know, most people seem to prefer that, but more fun can be had in other modes. There's gun matches, CTF, JA has Power Dueling (which is 2vs.1, with the solo-player having a slight MP/Force advantage), Team FFA, etc. There's also Battlefront, Allegiance, and yes, even XWA and XvT. Saturdays are the ICTE in #outerrim, and the bi-weekly Tournaments every other Sunday in #gmrg. This week, there is no Tournament, but you have to qualify for the Tournaments by playin in at least one gaming event prior to the Tournament. So, get out to the weekly nights, get some practice, and be ready to earn some points.

In Star Wars news, there was a preview played during "The OC" on Fox. Fortunately, I did not have to watch it to see the preview. I waited around like all the other smart people for someone to upload the preview, and someone else to link me. Heh. However, even with as skeptical as I've been of this movie, with the other two being somewhat disappointing to me, I'm seriously looking forward to this movie. In honor of this? I'm having a screenshot comp (although, I still need to submit it for approval, but I will). You've seen all the cool bits of lightsaber dueling in the preview? Get out there in JO and JA, and get me action shots. No, it does not have to be a lightsaber duel. Get me a grewat shot of blowing someone up with a trip mine; show me someone walking right into your trap, before blowing them away with your rocket launcher. Or, if you prefer to send a dueling shot, get me an image from one of the great duels of all times, with a perfectly executed move that destroys your opponents. I just want everyone to get into the spirit of the movie, and play. If you feel so inclined, bonus consideration to those who do it in skins of some of the premier duels (Luke and Vader, Obi-wan and Vader, Yoda and Dooku, Obi-wan and Anakin, Luke and Palpatine, Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma, whatever). In any case, kill some people with style, submit it, and I'm going to award the winners in each category.
