Time again for another report from your friendly neighborhood Consul!
For those of you unaware, QUA Laethan has announced his resignation as QUA of Byss and QUA Talon ended up leaving as well, leaving QUA positions open in both Byss and Ziost.
After a heavy search and many difficult decisions, Esca and myself have selected a new Summit.
For Byss, let me welcome Priest Cipher K'oranian Isradia as Quaestor. She has shown herself to be dedicated to Byss and to CEK as a whole and I feel she will do wonderful in the position of QUA. Email her at: [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
For Ziost, I would like to welcome Warlord Numaril Asfågeln (AKA Rakhai). He has a LOT of leadership experience in the DB and I think I'll be able to work very well with him. Email him at: [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
Congratulations, you two! I will be sending you an email detailing the things I will require from each of you later today.
The web site is near complete! It will provide CEK with a news system (courtesy of Aerick!), as well as an archive for all of your submitted fiction, etc. Masters, when you have a Student write fiction or create graphics, please send those entries to myself for addition to our web site. Let's build a rich archive of fiction and graphics created by our members!
We should have the site up by next weekend... something I'm quite ooking forward to, as it will free up my time to begin some other projects for the Clan.
I will be starting a "Member of the Month" event that will begin with the release of the Web Site. This new event will have a display box with some information about the member, and possibly even a drawing of the member's character by myself (time permitting). I want it to draw attention to our active members, regardless of rank, so if you know of someone who has done something to be named Member of the Month, let me know at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]
Well... it's been a great week for IRC attendance! I got to meet Ossus, Gaidal, and JayCee, which was a lot of fun! Thanks for coming out, guys, and welcome to the community!
