Report: 27 March 2005 </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Hails and Farewells</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Due to RL time constraints, DA Jonaleth Isradia has asked to be removed from the ACC staff, a shame really because he barely had enough time to get his feet wet. Good Luck, BK!</td> </tr> <tr> <td>KAP Timeros Caesus Entar (former CM) has been hired as a Trainer, I'm sure we will see great work from him!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>New Stuff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>ACCLive! is out and about, here and there. It's going to take some time to get judges scheduled to cover all of the gaming opportunities, but that will be worked out soon.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>The NPC Creature Guide is slowly taking shape. Currently the databank is being developed and then we'll work on the stats for the creatures - more to come on that as we get closer to completion, i.e. I may even tell you what its for.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>An addition to the Compendium is being worked by KAP Timeros. He's taking the Force powers for each class and working out an 'examples of use' section for each rank within those classes.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>CS's - Again</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Just a few reminders as CS's have been coming through at a pretty good volume.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Echani and Cortosis are 'restricted'. You must contact me for approval to use either.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Weapons, powers and armor listed in the 'description' section of your CS are worthless unless substantiated by stats (assigned skill points) on the CS, or defended by canon species trait.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Skill points for Lightsabres cannot be assigned by those individuals below the rank of Dark Jedi Knight (DJK).</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- There is a difference between race and species.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Other folks have to read those sheets, so it would be a good idea not to be sloppy. Check your spelling and keep it to pertinent information.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Yes, it gets worse...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Sometimes, it is really annoying to get complaints when somebody loses a battle, especially when they fail to read and understand the comments. The complaints that have sturdy, thought out arguments are the only ones I respect, and usually the only ones I consider. What really drives me up a wall, and is classed as the most pathetic display of 'sportsmanship', is a combatant who complains when they win - yea, I don't get it either (as if I can make their win more 'winny' :P). Couple that with ignorance and arrogance and you have an individual that is never pleased with any ruling - go figure.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>So, if you lose and have a complaint; please make sure that you have a) read the comments, b) determined that the comments were in error by actually using ACC guidelines (i.e. not what you "think" should have been) and c) provided an intelligent argument. The same applies if you wish to complain about your win. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Holiday for some</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Today is a holiday for some, specifically 'Easter'. Obviously, it is 'not good form' for me to go into what it's really about, so I'll just say: Have a great day!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
