Greetings Byssites,

It has been a joyous week in the House as many great members have joined our ranks, tons of Shadow Academy courses were passed and CON Chi-Long went on an awards give away! So lets recap the wonderful events of the week...

Shadow Academy

Lucien and I both passed the new Leadership Applications Test!

Kimahri and Nerca passed their Test of Wisdom exam! James succesfully completed MSN Messenger, Sith CORE and ISET! Zak tackled the Sith CORE and Dark Meditation this week and WON! Syrus completed IRC Basics! Tidus completed some courses this week as well; he did MSN Messenger, Test of Wisdom and Sith CORE. The Scholar of the Week goes to a new member this week, Acolyte Scorpius! Scorpius was diligent in his studies, completing a whopping 8 courses: Test of Wisdom, Krath CORE, IRC Basics, Leadership Studies, MSN Messenger, Krath Grammar, Conflict Mediation and Sith Tactics! Congrats everyone!

New Arrivals

We had a flood of members join this week, largely due to Scorpius, and I would like to take this moment to point them out for everyon! Everyone please open our House and hearts to Scorpius, Syrus, Visaroth, Serrik, Zak, James and Tidus! Welcome to Byss everyone!

Promotions

Quickly moving through the ranks Scorpius attained the rank of Acolyte this week and will know be seen as a true member in the eyes of the entire Brotherhood! Congrats! (Scorp's friends- don't let him show ya up!)

It is also with great honor this week that I am able to announce the rise in elevation of two of this house's most prized members: Lucien Do'Itek and Aerick Thane have both been awarded the rank of Jedi Hunter! Congrats guys and good luck on your Trials of Knighthood!

Awards (SHINEYS!!!)

Not only were Aerick and Lucien advanced in rank this week, but during Chi's most recent 'Award Rampage' they both snagged a 'Dark Cross'. A Dark Cross is awarded to those who have shown great House activity (Competitions, works for the Summit, or a great IRC presence)! Good work mates! In other news, I snagged a Steel Cross! w00t!

Byss-Trivia LIVE!

Kicks off today at 2 p.m. (Central U.S.) come join in the fun... there will be 8 rounds spread out over several weeks! Top victors after all rounds get something special!

Alright, that should be everything major as of right now... if I forgot anything huge I am sure Cipher will pick it up in her report! .... hmm... We did have that horrible April Fools joke... but everything is now back to normal, so that is good!
