Report: 2 April 2005 </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>ACC Employment</td> </tr> <tr> <td>There are three positions that are open for applications, though the only way you'll prolly hear about them is this report and the #acc channel (maybe the forum).</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I am looking for 2 (yes, two) ACCLive! Operators whose job will solely be to run the ACCLive! project. This requires, but is not limited to, the following:</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Mandatory presence on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays in #acc to run the program for gaming...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- A basic ability to judge battles (i.e. ACCLive! battles are usually "you win" without the worry of the stringent criteria)...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The ACC rank of Seeker or higher...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- There is NO win/loss requirement, but ACC experience is a plus...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I am also looking for an Operator. As most of you (should) know, an Operator is one who is skilled enough to handle the jobs of both a Judge and a Trainer. Needless to say, experience is a MUST - I can't expect you to train or judge anyone or any battle if you've never fought in one. Furthermore, if all you have fought in is one (baring circumstances like removing your CS for a time and then coming back) then that doesn't really constitute "experience" either. Use your judgment and apply - who knows, you may get lucky.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>New Stuff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Nothing really "new" this week; projects are still moving along and the CHL is in the 2nd round.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Character Sheets</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Just a few reminders as CS's have been coming through at a pretty good volume.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Echani and Cortosis are 'restricted'. You must contact me for approval to use either.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Weapons, powers (abilities) and armor listed in the 'description' section of your CS are worthless unless substantiated by stats (assigned skill points) on the CS, or defended by canon species trait.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Skill points for Lightsabres cannot be assigned by those individuals below the rank of Dark Jedi Knight (DJK).</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- There is a difference between race and species.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Other folks have to read those sheets, so it would be a good idea not to be sloppy. Check your spelling and keep it to pertinent information.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Idea Factory</td> </tr> <tr> <td>A bunch of folks have been sending in some great ideas! Keep it up! This is your platform, it wouldn't exist without your participation. I know I am a stickler about a bunch of stuff, but with so many members wanting it to be Burger King, I feel justified in not letting you have it "your way" - Yet, those who've looked passed that have really dropped some great stuff into my Inbox, thanks!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Weekend</td> </tr> <tr> <td>We can all rest a bit easier now that the Light has been stricken from the Darkness, so kick yer feet up, suck down your favorite beverage and have a great weekend!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
