Dark greetings, Members of Clan Exar Kun!

My apologies for not sending out a report last week! It was rather hellish for me in terms of free time. My thanks go out to our summit who kept you all informed!

Lots of events this week. I'd like to welcome all of our new members to the clan. I've even had a chance to meet some of you on IRC (like the super-active Scorpius and Syrus!) which has been really cool!

Also, I'd like to congratulate my Student, Aerick on attaining the rank of JH. Aerick has been a wonderful addition to our clan, and I see him going places in the DB.

This brings me to my next topic... awards. I realized this weekend that many of our members have been working hard to make CEK a top clan in the DB and that I had not formally recognized this hard work. I went on a "Medal Spree" and handed out awards to the following people for their hard work and dedication to CEK. I am very pleased to have been able to be the first person to award some of these people their first merit award!

Great job to Tarax for placing first in Arania's "Hunt Down and Destroy the Jedi" competition! Way to make us proud!

Also, congrats to Braecen and Virulence for placing 1st and 3rd (respectively) in Telona's "How To Survive April Fool's Day!" competition!

In other news, our Clan's IRC channel (#exarkun on the Undernet network - www.undernet.org) has finally been registered! We now have the control and security that the bot X has gives and I'd like to thank all of our supporters for their help during the registration process. I'd also especially like to thank OHC Korras for registering the channel for us. Come out and see us on IRC, if you haven't. You can use the webchat link on www.undernet.org or you can download the IRC program called mIRC from www.mirc.com. Join any Undernet server and check out #exarkun and #db! I'm around most days, as I work online.

SUNDAY TOURNAMENT:

Please also remember the bi-monthly tournament. You must be invited to this, but the way to get invited is to play in one of the weekly events in the two week period (Tues/Thurs all day in #gmrg on IRC - more on IRC below). For more info on the Tournament (like how to report scores and get invited!) go to http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=171 I've seen Godo and Schisca representing our Clan at these events, and I'd like to see more!

I've seen some great work and great effort from the membership of Clan Exar Kun in the past couple of weeks! I can't stress how pleased I am with our progress. I'm looking forward to some of the upcoming events.
