Aedile Report Number One

Introduction:

Xizor stared at the expectant crowd. He had done this a thousand times before back on Falleen, but this...this was different. The Dark Jedi awaiting for his acceptance speech observed him narrowed eyes... Thoughtful, doubtful even. The Dark Prince smiled inwardly. The crowd awaits, Lord Xizor, he thought. Best not keep them waiting.

"Brothers," he began, his sibilant whisper carried out loud and clear. "It is with great honour this day that I accept the position of House Aedile, granted to me by the brothers Keibatsu and Lord Sadow. As I have promised them, I shall promise you: Their decision shall be wholly justified, and I shall lead, along with Nekura, the great House of Marka Ragnos ito glory!"

They smiled slightly. Good. Approval.

News, Announcements, Competitions:

Now, I'll be begging your pardon for the poorness of this week's report, because I obviously have much to learn about this position. Fear not, though, next week I'll be boring you with internal affairs and other pointless trivia before you know it. ^_^

I'm having several ideas about competitions at the moment, and these are two I'm considering:

a) The chossing of my Black Guard. Even though I find it rather redundant, I believe it gives the House a sort of sense of unity, so I will be organising a competition to choose lucky him or her. Mind you, I will not be making this easy for you. ^_^

b) The run-on that is currently running on the message board and is facing a slow death. I will be starting a comp in the next few days where members will be able to send me the next post, which must necessarily contain DUM DUM DUM a very shocking twist. That means you write your post, send it to me, and if it's valid storyline-wise and clever twist-wise, you gain a shiny and the story carries on from that point on.

Also, anyone who wishes to participate in our expedition to the ancient site of the previous Marka Ragnos headquarters, say so on Manji's topic in the message board.

Achievements, Arrivals and Departures:

Krath Apprentice Gllen Nadis has arrived in Marka Ragnos.
