Clan Exar Kun Report for April 26, 2005

SUMMIT SHAKEUP

This week has seen our summit shaken up a bit. QUA Cipher of Byss has had to step down, due to real life time restrictions. I would like to say thank you to her for her time as QUA. As far as I am aware, she will be remaining in Byss as an active member.

Cipher was nice enough to let me know about her time restrictions in advance, so I was able to screen potential replacements. Please welcome KP Xiao Long (AKA Cym or Cymbre) to CEK as the new QUA of Byss! I've known her for some time now, and I'm sure she'll be a great addition to the House and Clan as a whole. Feel free to say hi and introduce yourself if you see her on IRC!

COMPETITION

ENVOY NEEDED FOR ZIOST

To members of Ziost: Your House is in need of an Envoy. This member must be extremely active on IRC and through email. The duties of this position are to help new members of the Clan (specifically those under DJK) to find Masters or pursue the Path of Kun by themselves. This is a critical position for the House and Clan, and is not one to be undertaken lightly. If you feel you are up to the challenge, email your QUA (Rakhai - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and the KCE for our Clan (Lucien - [Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

THINGS TO COME

Here are a couple of things I'll be working on over the next while:

1) Enhancing the Clan web site with Aerick

• Providing more functionality for members

• Providing more functionality for Summit

2) Clan powers

• Working with key individuals in the Clan to get us an "official" set of powers
  

3) "Member of the Month"

• New section on the web site drawing attention to individual members of CEK on a monthly basis
