Due to the extremely high number of individual events and the fact that some team events took longer than planned to get their teams together (plus the many members wanting a bit more time), Jac and I have decided to extend the Independence Games for an extra week (almost). It seems that a lot of players are working from the top down and all the great events in the second half of the board also deserve a lot of entries.

The new deadline is June 7, 11:59 pm EST - I would probably have given a few more days, but Sharad's big event starts on that day and thus any further extension would conflict with that one.

Confirmed submission count is up to 232 in spite of a number of missing judge reports, plus there's still a host of "almost done" submissions out there waiting to be sent.

Now the best part: A lot of events still have 2 or less entries, meaning that a quick and halfway decent submission has a really good chance at a medal - unless of course a lot of others think the same way!

Go to the Independence Games page and choose your personal medal source today. Put extra emphasis on #35 - it's the Grand Master's personal challenge and I'm sure he won't like to get stuck on that 0!!!
