Aedile Report 8th May 2005
Introduction
Greetings Ziost, and yes it's your favourite part of your week my report! yawn Actually in all seriousness I am very impressed with how Ziost is shaping up, another incredible effort from all of you so well done and keep up the good work!
There's quite a bit to get through this week, so with further ado lets get on with the show
Independence Games
I've mentioned this a few times already and I just want to briefly run over it in case some of you haven't heard about it. The Independence Games often referred to as the IG's it's basically a celebration of the Dark Brotherhoods split from the Emperors Hammer or EH. If you ever fancy delving into the history of the Dark Brotherhood including their split from the Emperors Hammer than take a moment to look at the DB web site and read through the compendium.
Anyway, a date has been set for the event, May 19th and will involve a huge variety of events where we compete with others clans. I encourage all of you to at least have a go, there will be something for everyone and there will rewards up for grabs too. Don't forget to register! :)
Aedile Competition!
Well it's time I unleashed a competition of my very own. It's nice and easy and there are TWO awards up for grabs. Some nice medals in the form of Crescents! To enter all you have to do is think of a gift for your new Aedile then write just a brief explanation as to why you gave wanted to give it to me. It can be something useful, humerous, offensive, I don't really mind but the best two entries will receive an award.
The competition starts Monday the 9th May and ends Friday 13th (I couldn't have picked better, could I?)

Funny thing happened the other day
Sometimes I get the impression that the world is out to get me, no really it is. Despite my best efforts the world seems intent to hunt me down and run me over. As some may recall from my last report I had a less than happy time in a restaurant. The following week the idea things can only get better flew out the window.
It started with a bank holiday Monday, a chance for me to take some photographs. I went to the historic town of Stratford, the very place where Shakespeare was born. Incidently if you plan on visiting the place I recommend taking a small loan. As the comedian Jasper Carrot joked I couldn't decide between buying an ice cream or a luxery villa in Marbella!
Anyway, it seems half the country or from my perspective the world had the same idea. I spent literally two hours qeueing to get in to the place when it normally takes me 30 minutes! Oh and the air conditioning packed up which meant I was fried alive!
Seeing the place so packed out, me and my other half decided to call it quits and go to Warwick. Big castle more over pricing, you get the idea. Then it started to rain and I am talking amazon rainfall here.
Having concluded the day was a total disaster we found a pub out in the country. To be fair the food was excellent and yes the wine was good :) However whilst I was paying my partner started to feel unwell, and promptly passed out! She had gone clammy and white as a sheet. Took her the rest of the day to recover. Oh and she's fine and would probably strangle me if she knew she had featured in my report!
Oh and unfortunately Labour led by Tony Blair won the UK elections. So another fours years featuring the grinning idiot! Joy.

Don't forget Jedi Hunter Schisca is trying to earn his Lightsaber, if you want to help him achieve this monumental task then take part in his competition. Plenty of fun for all!

Zorrixor also known as the 'goat' has tickets to a special Star Wars cinema feature in London. Basically you can watch ALL the Star Wars films to date including the new one, yet to be released. How do you claim these tickets? Simply email him and beg, beg like you've never begged before!

Final note
Again let me express my appreciation for all the hard work your all putting in, I hope we can maintain this level and further the clans success as well as your own. One other thing, if you bump into your Quaestor, Con or Pcon give them a pat on the back for all their hard work.
