So where the fuck have I been lately? Well, a month+ ago I said Id be a little busier because I was going to start recording a demo and work was steadily increasing what with it getting nicer and hotter out, but then something random happened. I got bored with the DB. It can happen to the best of us and it has happened to me in the past a few times. But the best part about being bored with the DB for a while is that when youre into it again you get a bunch of new ideas and you look forward to working on stuff. So now Im onto that part yay!

Since Ive been back a grand total of two days I dont have too much to talk about here. In the last month youve either seen whats been going on or youve been as oblivious as I have. Either way, the past is in the past so lets move onto some newer/recent stuff.
Well, nothing is more recent then the fact that Kir has also revived himself Amazingly enough at the exact same time I did so that worked out very well. Were both at that post boredom stage so expect a bunch of stuff from us in the next little while. We did have a date set for tonight but I predicted my working hour worst-case scenario at 6pm PST. That was worst case. I arrived home at 7:30pm PST after an insanely shitty day. It was like a billion degrees outside and everything was burning or blinding. I guess well have to reschedule our date, Kir.

DB News: Most I dont care about. The only thing I will say is that our very own former PCON, Sharad Hett is the newest Commander of the Royal Guard. If anyone has a chance with a group that has kept failing since conception itll be him, so good luck with the RG, Shar.

Three months later so Ive finally awarded 99.9% of the medals I owed people for the SHAFT competition. Duga still has a Star of Antei coming but I need to phrase it just right so it will actually go through. Damn Duga for winning so many medals!
Fire-Knight is also back from a bit of a real-life leave of absence. Benevolent and him will undoubtedly start cooking up some cool and fun stuff for the House.

Big/Sad news this week for Ektrosis: Nexus Mage has decided to step down from the position of Aedile. Like I was for a while he is now in the blah phase of the DB. After 9 months or so of activity more often than not youll hit that slump, especially in a leadership position. Nex did a great job as Aedile and he will be sticking around for a while on IRC and playing games and shit so thats cool too. Sorry to see you go, Nex.
Of course with that being said, DS is now taking applications for the open Aedile position. I cant recall the details this second but if youre interested read the email he sent and get your applications into him by the end of next week (or whenever the hell he set the deadline) Send them to DS and CC Kir and myself.

Ahh the projects. Well, no updates really since I havent done anything in a while. Actually thats not entirely true. Korras and I finished up the first draft of the new Rites of Combat (replacing the shitty Rules of Engagement) and sent it to people for review.
New stuff on the way: Im working on a problem/solution document for the Tal summit to look at and work on to see if we can resolve some of the issues we have in the clan at the moment. A few of them are minor and most pertain just to the leadership but it will hopefully make things better for everyone.
Also going to finalize my ideas for recording peoples fictional Dark Jedi Trials. I want everyone in Tal who has achieved the rank of DJK to write about their fictional trial so we can archive them on the Tal site for future generations to read about. This is mostly a fun side project but it will also help further develop your characters and your connection with Taldryan.
Lastly, I want to start unifying things with Ektrosis and Dinaari. A few minor changes to how each house interacts and how they work their promotions/medals, etc, etc so we can have a more unified Clan. Ill be talking to DS and Ben soon about a few things. Id also like to see the same Dark Jedi Trial Dinaari is now using being used in Ektrosis as well. So far the results in Dinaari have been excellent so I hope that helps.

Its nice to come back after almost a month of being gone to see things still running smoothly. Kraval and Duga have been dominating the MP stuff for a while now. Taldryan is practically unbeatable for the top spots in the ICTE and Sunday Tournaments. Nice work guys. Yay for Shar as CoG! Bye/Great work Nexus! Welcome back Kir/Me!
