Evening all, it's rather late when I'm writing this so I'll try to be brief:

First, thanks to Uzbad for covering the activity report, that saves me some time. It was pretty good this last week but I want to remind everyone that the IGs are only three days away and we will need every person to participate if we are going to match the efforts of last year. These are fun competitions, most of which don't take much time, that are organized between and within the clubs to see whose the best of all. There's plenty of chances for activity and rewards so get ready, I'll be looking forward to this.

Second, to help you guys get warmed up for the IGs and to get myself ready for grading I'm hosting a new and very easy competition. It's open to all members of the house but I'll look more towards the current members of the Ebon Cloak phyle in giving awards. Here's what you need to do:

It's been a long time sine the Ebon Cloak phyle has had a motto and

it's time to change that. What you are asked to do is come up with a motto

or slogan that best defines the phyle, what it means to be a Krath in HAD

andthe Ebon Cloak. Your submission should include the motto and a small

paper (no more than 1.5 pages double spaced in TNR size 12) about why

you chose that motto and how it applies to the House and the battle team.

End Date: 5/24/2005

This is really easy and it might be something that's around for long time (my motto I created for the Dragon Guard like two years ago is still in use) so have fun with this I hope to see quite a few submissions, especially from younger members.

Finally, read the DB news page for some relevant and important info about the Rebirth project and other DB/Star Wars related stuff. I'm working through it myself and I figured I don't need to include it here.

That seems to be all, once again congratulations to Vail on his promotion, I hope to see many of them and more in the coming weeks.
