Yes, I know how lopsided that appears and will be doing my best to even things out! While Byss got the proven member, Ziost got tons of potential... especially in the forms of Viktor, Rydack and Vertas!

Promotions

I do not normally cover promotions, but two stand out to me this week as they are monumental events. Okay, one is and the other feeds my ego... same thing!

My Apprentice Scorpius has completed his 'Trial of Mirrors' and earned himself the rank of Guardian, Congrats my Apprentice!

The other promotion this week was, of course, the Knighting of Schisca. Some of you may or may not know Schisca, but take these words for absolute truth. This member has overcome a great set of obstacles and challenges... maturing into the rank of Dark Jedi Knight with each challenge. It is an honor to add him to our ranks today - make us proud Schisca!

Scholar of the Week

When I first proposed this idea it did not exactly seem to break out, but now that I am giving awards to Scholars of the Month it seems everyone is coming out of the works to do Shadow Academy courses! And this week was tremendous, I am so very proud of every member partaking in the SA.

This week we saw completions from Xanatos, Syrus, Brijah, Christopher, Thran, Wolverine and Rydack! Good work guys, keep up the effort and it will pay off at the end of the month ;)

Now three members stood exceptionally tall this week, each completing four courses (and creating a tie, bah!) and I normally award it for the degree of difficulty... but each of these clansmen have earned this honor. So I present to you this weeks ScholarS of the Week: Viktor, Vertas and Lusankya! Congrats to each of you.

Gaming

Par for the course would dictate me rambling on about a multi-player game at this point of my report. However I am changing gears and kicking it into a RPG this week. And not just any RPG but the original kick arse game of Knights of the Old Republic (aka KOTOR).

If you havent delved into the RPG scene for some time, you need to for KOTOR 1 & 2! They are tremendous games that let you fulfill your fantasy of becoming a Jedi with a story. You decide what stats, powers, feats, clothes, weapons and dualities (light, dark or neutral) your characters have! The story is amazing in the first one and average on the second, but both are worth the time and money!

Competitions

I always release Competitions Weekly with your latest comp info each week... so keep your eyes peeled for that bad boy! And I will say it now, though i'm sure you'll see it in every other report:

Independence Games are now ACTIVE!

Go out and take a look at the events and get your hands dirty, this is an excellent opportunity to earn points towards promotions, shineys and enjoy your time in the DB! Make CEK proud, go win those events!
