My little Apprentice to Acolyte AWOL check went through with only one person reporting in. That brought the clan to the nice number of 45 – I’d rather have a small clan of active members than 70+ members where the majority are inactive. Also this allows for more new Apprentices to be sent to Taldryan so we get to sift through more potential to acquire active members.

Kir and I were working together a lot on a couple of Clan and DB-wide projects until he had to take leave. But not to worry, he’s scheduled to be back tomorrow and we’ll start pimping out the cool stuff. More info on that when it happens.

A few days ago you all received an email from Primarch Sithspawn (Ziggy) about a new competition called, “What’s Your Story?” Basically we want to start improving the fictional quality of Taldryan and its members, especially with Rebirth just around the corner. This is a competition in which you right your own character’s history – the story of how they started and how they came to be a member of Taldryan. All entries will be added to a page on the Taldryan website so get out their and start writing. And remember this isn’t just a competition for Krathies. I’ll be writing mine soon (I have some of the details worked out already), Kir has his history written and Ziggy (an Obelisk) is running the thing. Dark Sabre has finally finished taking in applications for the position of Aedile – he’ll be announcing the appointment in the near future.

Kir and I are working on expanding the RP aspect of Clan Taldryan and the first thing we’re working on is developing our system of planets. Of course you all know about that as I have asked for volunteers to help create names for places, cities, oceans, mountains, etc. After we’re done collecting names we’ll sort through them all and start putting the names to things. This will be beneficial for future competitions and Run-On events and whatever else we might have in-store for you.

Primarch Sithspawn (Ziggy) has been talking to me about a number of very cool ideas he’s had for Taldryan, a lot of it from back when he and Jac led the Clan. So expect some new developments soon.

Repeats: Still want to flush out my plans for recording Dark Jedi Trials – almost like the new Character History competition but I need to write it all out then convince Ben to do the coding… anyways, I’ll try to do more work on that this week.

I planned on waiting until the announcement of the new Ektrosis Aedile before starting work with both the Dinaari and Ekky summits on unifying the clan (among other things). Hopefully the Summits will start working more together after everyone has settled with the position change.

Things are starting to pick up activity-wise with the summit. Kir and I are working on a lot of new stuff for Taldryan as well as helping out with anything we can for Rebirth. The latest installment of the Independence Games has just started so expect that to be taking over most other forms of competition for the next month or so. Use this time to relax, have some fun, then be prepared for some good stuff in the future.
